Holiday at the beautiful Baltic Sea - who doesn't dream of it once
On the Bay of Kiel, in the popular holiday centre Holm/Schönberg, you will find my lovingly furnished holiday flat with balcony, which offers my guests a wonderful view of the countryside. Here you can relax from the stress of everyday life and spend cosy hours with family or friends.
The holiday flat "Sonnen-Oase" is located on the 2nd floor of the 7-storey house "Eckernförde", directly opposite the Baltic Sea Clinic Holm, and is also easily accessible by bus.
The sea and the fine sandy beach are about 15 minutes' walk (1.2 km) from the holiday home.
It is suitable for a family holiday or even a short trip over the weekend.
Children and dogs are welcome!
Facilities:
The well-equipped kitchenette offers my guests comfort through the use of various appliances and leaves nothing to be desired for breakfast, lunch and dinner together with the whole family.
You prefer to go out for dinner? - then I can recommend various restaurants in the immediate vicinity of your holiday flat!
In the combined living room and bedroom there is a very cosy double bed (mattress size 1.6 x 2.0 m). The comfortable and innovative sofa set can be converted into a double bed (1.75 x 2.0 m) in a few easy steps. At the cosy dining area with 4 chairs you can take your meals and pass the time with games.
My holiday flat also has a large TV and a stereo system that provide good entertainment for young and old.
The contents of your suitcases can be stored in a very spacious cupboard. For the duration of your stay, I offer you a safe in my holiday flat where you can safely deposit your valuables.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC, washbasin and hairdryer.
On the furnished loggia you can enjoy the sun from midday, gladly with a cool drink or a delicious piece of meat from the table grill.
The area is quiet and offers a lot of beautiful nature. Look forward to relaxing hours in Holm!
Occupancy:
The maximum occupancy of my holiday flat is 4 people, optimal are 2 adults and 2 children.
Holiday with your four-legged friend at the Baltic Sea:
I charge Euro 5.00 per pet and night, but a maximum of Euro 30.00.
Seasonal prices for the flat "Sonnen-Oase" can be found in the directory.
The 1st overnight stay (ÜN) includes the final cleaning of EUR 35,00.
Water, electricity and heating costs are included.
My lovingly furnished flat is accessible by lift for senior citizens and disabled persons.

The municipality of Schönberg levies a spa tax, which is payable in cash on site.

Euro 2,50 per day from 1 May to 30 September
Euro 1.10 per day from 1 October to 31 October
The Ostsee Card allows you to use the bus line 200 to Schönberg Ortsmitte and to Schönberger Strand free of charge.
An excursion to Laboe is also included, as well as many discounts for children and adults for leisure activities.

Arrival is possible at any time, but Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are preferred.
As a rule, the handover takes place personally on site.
I attach great importance to cleanliness. My guests should feel comfortable in my holiday flat and spend a relaxing holiday. A cosy atmosphere and attractive decoration are important to me.
For the reception, a small surprise is ready for my small, big and animal guests.
Please observe the house rules and waste separation!
I expect you to treat my inventory with care. Should something get broken, please inform me accordingly.
The disposal of household waste at departure is a matter of course.
Smoking in the flat is expressly not permitted!

Location and surroundings of object
On Holm's market square, which is very close by, you will find a number of small shops such as a snack bar/restaurant, bakery "KaffeePott", hairdresser, arts and crafts, fashion shop, fan corner, adventure mini golf in the palm garden etc. A laundry centre is also available for your use at any time. From spring to autumn, tourism comes alive with flea markets, music events, discos and children's festivals.
There is also a small grocery shop, bicycle/kettcar rental, boat rental, ice cream parlour, other cafés and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
The sea and the fine sandy beach are about 15 minutes' walk (1.2 km) from the holiday home. Whether you reach it on foot or by bike - breathe in the good sea air and enjoy nature in the beautiful Probstei, the very popular holiday destination.
Once you have discovered the high-rise building of Holm, the beach is also not far away.
For the spa tax you have to pay, the municipality offers clean water and a shallow beach with few stones. Ideal for children who want to splash around in the shallow Baltic Sea water and play in the fine sand to their heart's content.
Holm is a district of the municipality of Ostseebad Schönberg and is located about 3 km from Schönberg. The village of Schönberg is easily accessible by bus, bicycle or car and offers various shopping facilities such as Rewe, Edeka, Aldi, Lidl, Penny, Kaufhaus Stolz, Takko, etc. with customer-friendly opening hours - even at weekends.
Schönberg includes not only the central town, but also the districts of Neu-Schönberg, Schönberger Strand and Holm, as well as the "dream destinations" of California and Brazil.
In the immediate vicinity is the idyllic village of Barsbek, but also communities such as Laboe, Heikendorf, Lutterbek and Heidkate offer tourists plenty of variety and recreational fun for young and old.

1. Line 200/201 - Kiel - Schönberg, California, Schönberger Strand.
2. Line 120 - Schönberg / Laboe.

There is also a campsite nearby, equipped with a small snack bar, a restaurant, a small supermarket for the daily necessities and a miniature golf course.
A healthy alternative: the bicycle
Schönberg lies directly on the Baltic Sea Coastal Cycle Route, which runs from Flensburg on the Danish border to Ahlbeck (on Usedom). At the Tourist Service Ostseebad Schönberg you can get information and maps such as the Probstei cycling and holiday map.

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 4 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.

In my free time I like to go for walks with my two dogs or go cycling.
At weekends I am usually in Holm/Schönberg to recover from the stress of everyday life and enjoy the beautiful Probstei.
Renting out my holiday flat gives me a lot of pleasure. One day, when I go into well-earned retirement, I will be able to devote myself to this hobby even more intensively.
Schönberg offers tourists many attractions. There are also plenty of leisure activities for young and old.
If you are looking for recreation, you are in the right place here. Walking or cycling in the beautiful Probstei is fun. Or simply relax on the beach.
If you want to experience something, you can go to the discotheque on Holm's market square, meet friends for a barbecue or enjoy other events such as the sea bridge festival.

in 2021 we stayed for the first time in Mrs Ortmann's holiday flat to spend our holiday. The reason why we chose it was especially the cordiality and sympathy that we already felt when reading the advertisement of Mrs Ortmann. On site, the picture was confirmed. The flat is clean, the family very friendly and there is a small welcome (also for our 4-legged friends ;-)). A parking space also belongs to this flat.
The holiday was wonderful, so we decided to come again this year (this time for 2 weeks). :-) The surroundings are really wonderful, the whole house is very clean, there is a lot of green around and there are so many things you can do nearby (cycling, walking, sunbathing on the beach, horse riding, surfing etc.)
Mrs Ortmann has put a lot of heart into this flat and has put a lot of thought into it. Everything you need is there, even if the weather is not so good, so it is also good to visit in the autumn and winter months

Very nice apartment.
We felt very comfortable, the apartment is as described. Everything is lovingly furnished and everything you need is there. You can tell that animals are welcome from the dog bowl to the blanket, treats and poop bags.

Spent another great vacation there.
The equipment of the apartment is great, the location is very good. Behind the house, you can go into the field and it's about a 20-minute walk to the beach. There is a lot to do there and it's not far to Fehmarn (about 1 hour), and a visit is worth it. The nearby bakery invites you for a first dog walk in the morning. What can I say, the landlady is a very nice and kind woman. It's worth taking a vacation there.

Sunnyside Schönberg / Holm
Very nice reception with attentions for tenants, dog and cat. Very cozy, clean, quiet apartment, in which everything that was needed was available. Beautiful view from the balcony. Only a short distance to the beach. Great that the dog and cat could also be there and still absolutely clean. Elevator, bus stop in front of the front door. Great price/performance ratio. Simply perfect. Would love to come back.

Our vacation
Overall, we were very satisfied with the holiday apartment. We found everything exactly as described in the advertisement.
However, the information about the distance to the beach is not correct. It is not 900 meters, but rather 1.2 kilometers, and if you have a dog, it's even 1.9 kilometers to the dog beach. There are three beaches in total, but they are either too far to the left or too far to the right.
Since there is only one dog beach nearby (No. 26) and it is also shared with a boat pier, many other dog owners and we find it too small! The beach (No. 25) would be perfect for it. It would be nice if this could be implemented.
I don't know where else to mention it?!
We liked the location, size, amenities, etc. and had a very nice holiday.

Der Hundestrand bei Buhne 26 ist wirklich sehr klein. Viel schöner und größer ist der Abschnitt für Hunde bei Buhne 32, leider zu Fuß zu weit entfernt.

Klein aber fein!
Meine gegebenen Sterne möchte ich gern genauer Begründen:
Ausstattung: Wie es in Ferienwohnungen meist üblich ist, gibt es keine Bettwäsche oder Handtücher (man kann sich aber auch welche ausleihen), ich war allerdings positiv überrascht das es Küchenhandtücher gab, ich hatte selbstverständlich diese von zu Hause aus schon mitgenommen, beim nächsten Besuch weiß ich das ich die nicht mehr extra einpacken muss. Wir haben leider "tiefe Teller" vermisst, hatten dann in dem einen Schrank sowas wie "schüsseln" gefunden, die allerdings sehr Hundenäpfen ähnelten :) macht aber nix.
Ich denke von den Vorbesuchern, sind einige Gewürze dort geblieben und so konnten wir sogar Spaghetti Bolognese kochen.
Das Bad hat leider kein Fenster, so haben wir dann mit offener Tür geduscht, damit die Feuchtigkeit raus kann. Alles im allen kann man sagen es ist völlig ausreichend. Wir haben sogar einen Kniffel Block gefunden und haben beim Regenwetter so die Zeit ,bis die Sonne wieder raus kam, vertreiben können.
Preis/Leistung: Kann ich nur sagen, mehr als angemessen. Es gab sogar liebevoll auf dem Tisch für uns bereitgelgt eine Tafel Schokolade und für unseren Kater ein paar Leckerein. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür.
Service: Den haben wir nicht benötigt, wobei der "Hausmeister" auf dem Gang uns mit einem Bisschen Öl und einem Schwamm auhelfen musste/konnte.
Lage: Je nachdem ob man gut zu Fuß ist oder nicht, war man in 10-20 Minuten am Deich, uns hat die "Entfernung" nicht gestört.
Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen.

Ein schönes Apartment....
Das Apartment ist sehr liebevoll und hübsch eingerichtet. Alles sehr sauber. Wir waren zu zweit nur für 1 Nacht dort und dafür war alles super. Für eine Familie mit Kindern ist es unseres Erachtens zu eng. Es gibt keinen Backofen und nur ein Kochfeld mit 2 Platten. 2 oder 3 Wochen Urlaub wird so für die kochende Mutter zur Qual. 2 Personen ist ideal, da fehlt es dann an nichts. Leider ist der linke Sonnenschirmhalter defekt. Man sitzt in der prallen Sonne, es sei denn man stellt die Balkonmöbel vor die Balkontür. Der 2. Schirm hat einen zu dünnen Stil. Also Schatten Fehlanzeige. Die Silikonnaht der Duschwanne ist schimmelig. Das sollte erneuert werden. Wir haben einen guten Preis bekommen, aber der normale Preis von über 90€ pro Nacht für dieses Apartment ist definitiv zu teuer!

Liebevoll eingerichtet und viel Platz
Uns hat es speziell in der windigen Zeit an die Ostsee gerufen, denn wir wollten lange und ausgiebige Spaziergänge mit unserem Hund machen. Die Ferienwohnung von Frau Ortmann war hierfür perfekt geeignet. Jeder konnte sich großzügig ausbreiten und am Abend lud auch der Balkon auf ein Gläschen Wein zum Tagesausklang ein. Der Weg zum Strand ist schnell hinter sich gebracht, in der Umgebung bekommt man jeden Morgen frische Brötchen und die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin klappte wunderbar!
