Our holiday home Friesennest in the North Sea resort of Dornumersiel is centrally located in the centre of the village and yet very quiet in a dead-end street. It is only a few minutes' walk to the supermarket, restaurants, bakery, etc. The beach can be reached via a beautiful footpath along the Mahlbusen (small lake) in about ten minutes on foot. The house was built in 2000 (renovated in November 2021), is generously and tastefully furnished and offers you approx. 75 square metres of living space. The Friesennest is designed for a maximum of 4 people + baby and has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds + baby cot if required, a kitchen with Miele built-in appliances, a bright living room with terrace access, a bathroom and a guest toilet. A Miele washing machine is available in a separate storage room. The whole house is equipped with roller shutters. The ground floor is tiled, the upper floor has high-quality laminate flooring.
Patio furniture with cushions, which are located in the outside storage room, are of course also available as well as a parking space.
If you are travelling with a baby/toddler, a high chair and a baby cot are available free of charge.
If you would like to bring your bicycles with you, you can store them in our lockable outside storage room.
In this house you lack nothing to experience a beautiful holiday at the North Sea coast.

Our holiday home Friesennest in the North Sea resort of Dornumersiel is centrally located in the centre of the village and yet very quiet in a dead-end street. It is only a few minutes' walk to the supermarket, restaurants, bakery, etc. The beach can be reached in about ten minutes via a beautiful footpath along the Mahlbusen. The officially recognised North Sea resort of Dornumersiel is located directly on the North Sea coast with a great view of the offshore islands of Baltrum and Langeoog. Everything is close together and within easy walking distance.
Dornumersiel has a lot to offer:
An approx. sqm large sandy beach with adjacent children's playground
A football pitch and beach volleyball court
A skating rink
A surfing and kite meadow
A heated open-air seawater swimming pool
A camping site
A beautiful cutter and yacht harbour
Several restaurants and cafes that also offer regional delicacies
And of course a Markant shopping market right in the centre of town
In the middle of Dornumersiel is a small lake, the "Mahlbusen", which invites you to go boating and fishing. The modern themed spa park "Seepark west" charmingly connects the fishing village with the harbour and beach area.
And then there is the "Reethaus am Meer" with a varied programme of events, with a mini and adventure golf course, tennis court, library, internet corner and the play barn for the little guests. Excursions directly from the Dornumersiel cutter harbour to the islands, to the seal banks or also to deep-sea fishing offer variety. A visit to the Nordseehaus is not to be missed. In the Zwei-Siele Museum, right next door, you can learn a lot about Dornumersiel's fishing history.
In the centre of the village there is a spa centre with a wide range of therapies and wellness facilities.

Relaxed vacation
Cozy holiday home, quietly located in a cul-de-sac, well-maintained and very well equipped. Dornumersiel is quiet in June - ideal for us!
The only downside: My mobile network only worked on the dike near the harbor.
