After the property in the middle of the small, quiet North Sea resort of Dornumersiel had been acquired and newly rounded off, the new owners had to realise that large parts of the house, which was approx. 200 years old and had been altered many times, were in a very deplorable condition. In the course of 2002/2003, extensive measures were taken to renovate and restore the remaining substance.
The Villa Coco with its 120m² of living space is dominated on the ground floor by a large fireplace open on all sides. In front of the visually separated kitchen with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave etc. is the dining area, opposite is the cosy living area. A small hallway leads to the sauna room, a shower room with floor-level shower area, and an alcove with washing machine and dryer. Upstairs, two bedrooms invite you to relax and rest at night and another bathroom invites you to indulge in hygiene.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets under the premise of keeping the house open to allergy sufferers. For the same reasons, smoking is not allowed in the house.
Since September 2014, the new infrared sauna on the ground floor is ready for use.
A WLAN connection is available for your use.
The garden with its three ash trees, surrounded by native plants, welcomes you to play, have fun and relax.
There are 2 parking spaces on the property. In addition, you have the possibility to paddle across the Mahlbusen in our folding boat. (at your own risk! )
Garden furniture and a parasol are of course available for our guests.

The "Tief" runs about 50 metres away, where you can fish to your heart's content after purchasing a licence from the local fisherman. The walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes. Around the corner there is a bicycle rental, a supermarket and several restaurants of different qualities. Apart from that, you have many possibilities for various activities.

House and garden in a prime location. The house is very cozy and extremely well-maintained. The same applies to the garden. Some very good restaurants within 300 m. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time.
The house and the garden impress with their excellent location and special charm. The holiday home is very cozy, extremely well-maintained, and invites you to feel comfortable from the very first moment. The beautifully designed and lovingly maintained garden also contributes to the relaxed holiday atmosphere.
Particularly noteworthy is the great location: Several very good restaurants are located within just 300 meters and are easily reachable on foot. We felt completely comfortable, enjoyed the time very much, and can recommend the accommodation without reservation!

Charming and cozy holiday home in a wonderfully quiet location!
in a beautiful, authentic, and very cozy furnished holiday home with plenty of space to feel comfortable. The house impresses with its special charm, comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and tastefully designed bathrooms.
The surroundings are pleasantly quiet and friendly – ideal for leaving everyday life behind and enjoying a relaxing holiday. The great location is particularly practical: A bakery and a supermarket are located just around the corner and are easily reachable on foot.
The communication was also excellent, uncomplicated, and very pleasant.
We felt completely at ease and can definitely recommend this charming holiday home!

Charming Frisian house with great attention to detail – central and yet wonderfully quiet!
The holiday home is very centrally located yet quiet. The charm of the old Frisian house begins the vacation as soon as you enter the property. The house is furnished with great attention to detail, and each room impresses with its individuality. If you open the windows in the bedroom to the garden side at night, you will be woken up in the morning by birdsong. A small tip would be mosquito nets in front of the two windows in the bedroom to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes. The supermarket (open from Monday to Sunday) is within walking distance and just 300m away. The restaurant "Am Kamin" is directly across from the house, other restaurants are just a maximum of 500m away. The beach and harbor with a fish restaurant can be easily reached on foot in about 20 to 30 minutes.

Beautiful accommodation with special charm – perfect for relaxing!
The accommodation was very beautiful and had a unique charm. One was very quickly at the sea, in the supermarket, and at restaurants. The hostess was very nice and helpful. The communication was straightforward and very friendly. We were there in winter and it was very nice, quiet, and cozy. Exactly the right place to relax.
