Description
The holiday complex with 32 blocks is situated in a park-like area of approx. 60000 m² with a small stream and duck pond. There is a large pool (approx. 500 m²), restaurant, shop, playground, table tennis, volleyball court. Free WLAN at the main house. For 10€ WLAN possible in the house.
Our house is the end house in a U-shaped block and consists of two floors.
On the ground floor there is a large living/dining room (with 2 sofa beds) with an open kitchen and a shower room.
From the kitchen and the living room you enter the large terrace.
On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed each and a full bathroom.
From the bay window bedroom a door leads to the balcony.
There are air conditioners in all rooms!
Until November 2020 I will be on site myself and until then I will only rent the upper floor (bath, balcony, 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and TV each) to up to 4 people (10€ per person, also in high season). If there are 1 or 2 persons, I will stay in the second room, but during the day you have the whole floor to yourself.
You can eat in the restaurant during the summer season (breakfast 3€ , daily menu 4€ , dinner a la carte).

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located in a nature reserve on the eastern side of the mouth of the Manavgat River. There are only fields all around and a pine grove stretches between the holiday complex and the beach. It is 3-4 km to the main road, the D400, where you can catch the local bus.
The town of Manavgat is a district town in the province of Antalya on the Turkish Riviera with inhabitants (as of 2014). It is located 75 km east of Antalya, 60 km northwest of Alanya and 7 km northeast of the ancient city and resort of Side.
Manavgat is situated in the fertile plain between the Taurus Mountains and the estuary delta of the Manavgat River. Cotton, grain, sesame, many fruits and vegetables as well as flowers are cultivated in the plain.
The river of the same name flows through the town, which is a popular destination for excursions with its large waterfall (büyük şelale) and small waterfall (küçük şelale - more like rapids) and the fish restaurants partly built over the river. Otherwise, Manavgat is still known regionally for its large bazaar and spice market, visited by locals and tourists alike.
A striking feature is a single-lane steel bridge over the river, built between 1931 and 1938 by the German company Krupp. For a long time, the "yellow" bridge was the only connection between the two riverbanks. Today there are three more bridges.
Upstream there are two reservoirs that can be navigated by excursion boats in summer. The upper reservoir (Oymapınar Dam) has a 360 m long and 157 m high dam wall and a storage capacity of 300 million m³. It was built in 1984 for drinking water supply and energy production.
With tourism, Manavgat grew from a formerly small village to a larger town with many shops, shopping centres, restaurants and bars. A new, man-made waterfall was built in the middle of the town. The statue of Atatürk, which stands above the waterfall, together with the waterfall form an appealing image and are therefore very popular with tourists.

Until December 2023 I will be on site myself and until then I will only rent the upper floor (own entrance, bath, balcony, 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed each, air conditioning, German satellite TV) to up to 4 people. I only rent to one party, so you have the whole floor to yourself, even if you only come as a couple. You can eat in the restaurant from May to October (breakfast 3€ , daily menu 4€ , dinner a la carte). If you wish, you can also use my kitchen.
