Location and surroundings of object

Our holiday flats Onkel Schorsch/ Tante Emma border directly on the inner city area (pedestrian zone), but are quiet and centrally located. Numerous shops, cafes and restaurants can be reached in a few minutes, 100m from us is the possibility to buy fresh bread rolls + especially Bamberger Hörnla, fresh fruit, vegetables and meat and to supply yourself in our kitchen. In addition, we have the shortest way to the Bamberg beer cellars, you must enjoy the view with a cool beer in summer. Furthermore, there is a lot of green in the adjacent Domgrund and in the Hain area with bathing possibilities in the historic Hainbad. The world heritage city of Bamberg offers a wide variety of cultural activities. Known in winter as a wonderful city of nativity scenes, in summer there are numerous concerts, a wide variety of theatre performances, events organised by the international artists' house Villa Concordia, unique festivals such as 'Bamberg zaubert', fete da la musique and the Bamberg Sandkirchweih.
Even just strolling through the historic old town,
with culinary stops and beer tastings makes you forget about everyday life for a while.
