Description
Our holiday home Jannis-Michelle offers you a pleasant, bright atmosphere, with plenty of space to feel good and family flair. You will feel at home here at any time of the year. When it is cold outside, a flickering fireplace and the floor heating (on the ground floor) provide cosy warmth.
On approx. 100m² you will find:
3 bedrooms, a large living-dining area with a modern fitted kitchen, 2 bathrooms, whereby the bathroom on the ground floor is accessible for wheelchair users (stable grab rails, shower with folding shower seat, accessible washbasin with pull-out shower and tilting mirror).
For your entertainment, there is a satellite TV (flat screen), a DVD player, a hi-fi micro system with cassette deck, CD player, radio and USB connection.
Of course you will also find a small selection of books and games in the house.
The modern fitted kitchen leaves almost nothing to be desired.
Enjoy the sun on the terrace (with awning) or on the lawn.
A garden shed is available for your bicycles.
Two cars can be parked on the parking space directly next to the step-free entrance.

Haus Jannis-Michelle is located on the edge of the town centre (An den Greetsieler Grachten 5). It is only a few minutes' walk from the adventure playground, bakery, supermarket with large meat counter, medical centre, pharmacy and health oasis. The village centre with its idyllic fishing harbour is also only a 5-minute walk away.
There is also a bicycle rental shop in the immediate vicinity, which offers inexpensive bicycles for young and old.
In Greetsiel, beautiful alleys invite you to stroll. There are various gift and tea shops, clothing, shoes and much more. Treat yourself to culinary delights in garden cafés, ice cream parlours and typical East Frisian restaurants. Of course, there is also Italian, Greek cuisine, etc. Enjoy freshly caught fish and the famous North Sea crabs.
A real highlight for young and old is always the fishing harbour with the largest crab cutter fleet in East Frisia. Here you can regularly watch the fishermen at work. The famous Greetsiel twin mills are always a nice holiday motif (with a guided tour of the mills). There are beautiful cycle paths, also off the beaten track. East Frisia is always worth a visit. The impressive landscape was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009. There is a lot to discover all around and you can be active in sports. In the immediate vicinity you will find: bathing fun and wellness, water sports (kiting, surfing) paddle and pedal, mudflat walks, horse riding, golfing, modern leisure centres for children, boat trips (also directly from Greetsiel), get to know the East Frisian Islands ( a different one every year ... highly recommended), canal and harbour cruises, shopping and lots of culture, lively museums, small seals, in summer there are many festivals and special events, also with live music and concerts, Viking and knight festivals, churches with important organ landscapes, historic windmills, lighthouses the famous Otto Walkes Lighthouse in Pilsum, by the way you can also get married there! Visit the famous Meyer shipyard in Papenburg. There you can see how luxurious cruise ships like the AidaBlu are built. Visit the VW factory in Emden for car enthusiasts and much more. There is no room for boredom here - for the whole family. You have to experience East Frisia for yourself. Flat as a flounder, but never boring. See for yourself! At the same time, strengthen your immune system and recharge your batteries with the iodine-rich North Sea air and the healthy stimulating climate. Not only recommended in summer.

Super schönes Haus
We stayed at House Jannis-Michelle for Easter for the first time, but definitely not the last time. Everything was very nice, exactly as described on the internet. We had everything we needed. My husband (with limited mobility) felt very comfortable. And on top of that, the weather was great. We highly recommend this beautifully decorated, very clean, and tasteful house filled with love. everything you need for a vacation with children
We were very satisfied. An example of this is our "list of shortcomings". The following were missing:
A rolling pin and a hot water bottle. Everything else was available, cheese grater, orange squeezer, all pot sizes, in short, everything you need.

Super schönes Ferienhaus
6 people had plenty of space there, there was even an accessible bathroom. The whole house was very clean and nothing was missing. We were able to have a very nice vacation. We will probably come back.

Luxury New Year's Eve
Our expectations were far exceeded. First, the friendly welcome by the local host, then this really great and cozy furnished house with so many lovely details.
Especially when the weather is not cooperative, one appreciates having such a retreat!
We really enjoyed our time there and surely won't be the last time we visit.
