Our holiday flat 'Pusteblume' is located in Schillerstrasse 43, 88074 Meckenbeuren, which is about 10km away from the Lake of Constance, nestled between apple orchards on the outskirts of the village.
It has more to offer than comfortable living, there are endless possibilities to relax and enjoy:
For indoor activities, there are the thermal baths of Bad Buchau and Bad Waldsee, Bad Saulgau as well as the thermal baths in Meersburg, where you of course can swim at any time of the year in the lake of constance if you wish to do so.
Also, we have the mountains on the doorstep. You could go for walks or hikes to enjoy the spectacular landscape the mountains have to offer.

Location and surroundings of object
The ground level apartment has 100 square meters of living space and a fully fenced 400 sqm garden with 2 terraces. The apartment is located in a separate building and has a separate entrance, the outdoor area is spatially separated from our house and garden, so reserved just for you! History about Meckenbeuren ... The town was first mentioned as such in 1496 in a document, but already 879 registered a document of the St. Gallen Monastery a resident settler named Megi. Whether the name Meckenbeuren can be attributed to this is disputed. Probably from 1094, the area belonged to the monastery vineyard. 1530 was sold for 3,100 guilders to the Count of Montfort Haug and thus became part of the county Montfort. 1780 Indebted house Montfort was forced to cede his goods to Austria. Under Napoleon the town in 1806 fell to Bavaria, which they ceded 1810 Württemberg. A significant growth spurt brought the congregation of the connection to the railway line Stuttgart-Friedrichshafen in 1847. The folk song "On the Schwabian Railway" mentioned in the chorus also Meckenbeuren. The now disused railway line Meckenbeuren Tettnang-1895 was the first electrically operated full railway in Germany.

The flat has modern furnishings and is technically very well equipped, whether kitchen equipment, HD TV, wifi, garden furniture, telephones, stereo system, everything you need was really there. Even a night light for our children's bedroom was not missing. Of all the holiday flats we have seen online, this is one of the few that is really modern and very nicely furnished. We felt very comfortable. A small shopping centre can be reached after a few hundred metres. You can buy groceries there and also get fresh breakfast rolls 7 days a week
The landlady was very friendly, open and uncomplicated and very helpful. The handover of the keys also worked perfectly.

Your loyal regulars from the north.
Very beautiful landscape, which you can already enjoy in the morning while having breakfast on the terrace, because the holiday home offers a wonderful view of meadows and fields. If you are lucky (early riser) you can also see deer and foxes. The flat is very spacious, well furnished and equipped. There is a parking space for the car and bicycles can be parked in the courtyard under the canopy. To Lake Constance to Friedrichshafen by train (station 400 metres) it is just a 15 minute drive, by car about 9 kilometres. There are also many sights in the area. As regular guests, we have stayed here 5 times and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Now we know why the dandelion is always fully booked!
A very nice, friendly host. We were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine and pretzels in the apartment. The large, clean ground floor apartment even had two bedrooms which we also used. Finally, a good night's sleep in peace! We traveled together with our two smaller dogs. A well-equipped holiday home with a large, fully fenced garden for exclusive use in an optimal and quiet location, what more could you want. We will definitely choose the holiday home for our next stay in the Bodenseekreis if we can get a spot. Our definite conclusion ***** stars.
