Our house is situated in a quiet location on the edge of the village of Altastenberg, 5 minutes walk to the ski slopes and 1 minute to the hiking and cycling trails. The house has 3 holiday flats from 40 - 80 sqm, suitable for 2, 4 or 6 people.
Each flat has a parking space at the house.
The flats are all smoke and pet free.
There is a storage space for motorbikes and bicycles. The land of a thousand mountains and valleys - with us it is at your feet!

Fantastic!
During the autumn holiday, we spent a lovely midweek in this apartment. A delightful apartment with everything you need. A good bed, a lovely shower, a beautiful balcony, and a kitchen equipped with all the essentials you might need during a vacation.
When you leave the house, you can start from the 'Dorfshalle' and take many beautiful walks. It functions as a network route, allowing you to plan a different route for each walk. It doesn't matter in which season you come here, there is always something beautiful to see.
Haus am Berg is run by Arian and Birgit; two super sweet people who are always willing to give you tips, help you, but also give you the necessary privacy.
They offer a bread service every day to really complete the holiday feeling.
We had such a wonderful time here that we will be back soon because we haven't seen everything yet!

Enjoyed nicely at Haus am Berg
It is so wonderful to go for a walk in the area around Winterberg. Big fans of hiking should definitely stay at Haus am Berg. You step outside and within 5 minutes you are in nature. An active holiday (whatever the season) is absolutely possible with Arian and Brigit. They are always there for you, from bread rolls to an ATM, or hiking routes to attractions. We had a great weekend and will definitely come back!

Wonderful holiday accommodation in a beautiful setting
Several times we have enjoyed a weekend in the beautiful surroundings of Altastenberg. This house with several apartments is located in a lovely spot. You can step right into nature from the front door! Highly recommended in every season! We hope to come back here in December and enjoy perhaps a white Sauerland. There are plenty of skiing and cross-country skiing options nearby. Great bread service and a delicious egg on Sundays! We are looking forward to seeing the warm-hearted owners Arian and Birgit den Toom again. We definitely recommend this place!

Enjoying hospitality at Gästehaus am Berg
We had a wonderful weekend in the hospitable home of Birgit and Arian, cozy apartment, good wifi, delicious bread rolls, we could cook ourselves or eat out in the village. We had a lovely sunny weekend and enjoyed walking in the snow, the cross-country ski trails are just around the corner, and so are the slopes. Worth repeating.
