It is located in a listed timber-framed building that 2012 has been lovingly restored. The house offers a living space of 111 square meters for 2 to max. 8 people. It has a garden and a terrace where you can recover from the trips. And a dream - a sauna.
It has two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living area. One bedroom with a double bed that up under the roof Spitz is open on the top floor. About a ladder you yet reached a small additional loft with 2 mattresses. In addition, the ground floor one bedroom with 2 single beds and a sofa bed in the living area. There is also a cot and a travel cot.

The cottage is quietly situated in the center of Alpirsbach.
Bakery, restaurants, cafes and small subject in the immediate vicinity, ie are within walking distance.

The house is located in the northern Black Forest in the beautiful Klosterstädchen Alpirsbach.
It is located in the center of Alpirsbach quiet directly at the Kinzig, which flows through the town.
During the renovation of the house, only natural materials were used. No chemicals.
Alpirsbach offers itself as an ideal starting point for many excursions. It is 20 km south of Freudenstadt. From here you can quickly reach Freiburg, Baden-Baden, Strasbourg, Lake Constance.
It is ideal for walkers, cyclists, golfers. Also for winter sports, it is interesting or simply for leisure travelers who want to relax in the Black Forest and be pampered.
Alpirsbach is located 20 km south of Freudenstadt.
The small town is known for its monastery and its own brewery.
It is centrally located to make excursions in the area.
The cities of Freiburg, Strasbourg, Baden-Baden, Stuttgart are not far away and invite you to explore.
By car you can quickly reach the Black Forest High Road, which is interesting for winter sports.

Fantastic weekend in a quaint holiday home
The Gerberhaus is beautifully furnished: old floorboards, new wooden furniture, carved ceiling decorations, modern bathrooms. The kitchen is also superbly equipped, and the wood stove makes it perfect cozy. It was wonderful to use the sauna after hiking in the evenings and then relax on the terrace with the sound of the creek. We would love to come again!

Wunderschönes verlängertes Wochenende
Wir haben mit 8 erwachsenen Personen ein tolles Wochenende verbracht. Haben abends immer in der perfekt ausgestatteten Küche gekocht, mit dem dazu georderten Holz den wunderschönen Kachelofen angeheizt, supergut geschlafen, uns an dem ganz besonderen Interieur erfreut und laut gesungen und gelacht ohne jemanden gestört zu haben. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber!

Traumhaftes Familienwochenende
Wir hatten ein super Familien-Wochenende im Gerberhaus und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Es liegt sehr idyllisch in der Alpirsbacher Altstadt mit ihren Läden und vielen Restaurants in der Nähe. Vom Haus ab gibt es tolle Möglichkeiten für Tageswanderungen. Wir empfehlen das Gerberhaus an Familien auch mit sehr kleinen Kindern weiter!

Urgemütliches, charmantes Haus
Wir waren insgesamt 6 Personen mit Säuglingen.
Das Haus wirkt durch seine schiefen Winkel und Ecken erst rech gemütlich und verleiht ihm einen urigen Charm. An heutigem Komfort mangelt es aber dennoch nicht. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Toller Urlaub
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Einrichtung ist ausgefallen und sehr komfortabel. Die Sauna ist prima. Die Öfen im Haus haben es uns auch gemütlich warm gemacht.

Sehr sauber und sehr stilvoll und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet
Eine wunderbare Woche im Spätherbst durften wir im Gerberhaus verbringen. Das Haus hat uns herzlich empfangen, alles war sehr sauber und sehr stilvoll und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Abends heitzten wir die Sauna an und konnten uns anschl. in der gemütlichen Stube mit dem tollen Schwedenofen entspannen. In der Stadt konnten wir vielerorts lecker essen und zusammen mit unserem Hund unternahmen wir schöne und lange Spaziergänge im Schwarzwald. Wir kommen gerne wieder mal.

We really enjoyed our stay in Alpirsbach, especially in the Historisches Gerberhaus.
Everything was perfect starting from the kind reception from the house maid who allowed us to leave our luggage while she finished cleaning the house so that we could walk around the town, to the warm reception of you who gave us a quick tour of the house.
The place was spotlessly clean and the house has all the amenities one could think of (nice touch is the umbrella near the door). It is a comfortable house made enterily of wood (chalet style) with a romantic wood burning fireplace. The beds are super comfortable and the area is so quiet so you really get a goods night sleep. It is also nice to hear the ducks quack in the morning as there is a river that runs right behind the house. The most original thing is the sauna in the garden. After a long days hike in the forest, it was a pleasure to come home and enjoy a few minutes by the sauna.
We will definitely return to Alpirsbach and stay here again.

Heimeliges Fachwerkhäusle an der jungen Kinzig
Unsere Ferienzeit in Alpirsbach und Umgebung hat uns wunderbar gefallen. Ihre Unterkunft ist genau auf unsere Bedürfnisse zugeschnitten. Wir lieben es, wenn es knarrt beim Gehen, mögen das Einfeuern und ganz allgemein in einem Haus mit Geschichte zu wohnen finden wir spannend.
Der Flösserpfad ist eindrücklich von oben bis unten, auch Schiltach mit seinem schönen Fachwerk hat es uns angetan.

Wunderbares historisches Fachwerkhaus
Liebe Hausbesitzer,
wir haben unseren Urlaub hier sehr genossen. Die Zeit ging zu schnell vorbei. Haben festgestellt, das die Menschen hier im Städtchen wirklich sehr freundlich sind. Vermissen jetzt schon das knisternde Feuer am Abend, das knarren des Holzes und natürlich die Badewanne. Auf die bald eingebaute Sauna sind wir schon gespannt. Bewundern sehr die Arbeit, die in dem Häuschen steckt und wie liebevoll es eingerichtet ist. Der Hund hat sich auch gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder in das schöne Haus um ein paar Tage auszuspannen.
