Not quite what we'd expected...
This is a lovely old cottage, although spoiled by a hideous extension made from bare breeze blocks. It comes well equipped.
The house is in a quiet location. A car is advisable as it is a 25 minute walk from the centre of Granadilla along a road which has no footway or street lighting for part of the way. And because it is located just outside Granadilla the local taxi service were unable to locate it on Google maps so being January, it was very dark at night and too precarious to walk to a restaurant. Local taxis seem to stop at 9am so little prospect of getting a lift back even if you go out before dark. The only option seems to take your car for an evening out.
We had expected to be able to use the swimming pool, being under the impression that this would be heated to about 25 degrees-we thought we had booked through a website which mentioned the pool was solar heated, but when we queried this we were told it was an old website and the company were not responsible, so the pool is totally unheated, and when we queried this we were informed that it would cost us 25 euros a day (so much for solar power) and that it would take 2 days for it to reach the advertised temperature. We declined to pay this, being under the impression from the original website that heating for the pool was included in the price quoted.

Beautiful finca
A perfect house for two people, super equipped and exactly as shown in the pictures. The top-maintained garden is the absolute highlight. There are so many different plants to discover, plus a fantastic view of the sea and a very nice pool. The owners are very nice and came regularly to water the garden. If you ever want to order a taxi, we recommend calling a side street, as there are only two houses at the address of the finca and therefore no one knew this address.
We can recommend the house 100%!

Quiet holiday home for individualists
We were guests in the Finca Medera for 14 days. The house is very nicely equipped and very well maintained. We were able to relax very well and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We can highly recommend the house.

Mooi appartement op rustige locatie
Het appartement,aan de rand van het stadje, is zeer aan te bevelen voor mensen die er graag op uittrekken. Wij hebben het appartement 10 dagen gehuurd in januari. Het appartement is zeer goed onderhouden en schoon.
Het appartement is ruim voor 2 personen en het zwembad is heerlijk verwarmd. (27 degrees)
Goede ligbedden bij het appartement en het zwembad.
Er is mogelijkheid om te koken, er is ook een buitenkeuken alleen hebben wij deze niet gebruikt.
