It offers plenty of attractions, and from May to September the magnificent, world famous cheese market on Friday.
Also, there is no problem of Egmond aan Zee to reach the beautiful city of Amsterdam. For example, the train from Heiloo about 5 minutes by car, since you can use the car park park & ride for nothing and are in about 40 minutes in the center of Amsterdam.

100% recommendation
Very nice apartment, everything very clean and everything you need is available. It takes just about 15 minutes to walk to the center and less than 20 minutes to the beach. Landlady Yvonne is very nice and she is always open to any questions.
Yvonne, we will come back!

Beautiful holiday week in Egmond aan Zee
We spent a fantastic week with our 2-year-old daughter in Yvonne and Willem's apartment. The apartment is very well-maintained and offers everything you need for a vacation - and more. The open kitchen and the adjoining open living/dining room are very spacious, allowing even 4 adults to spend a rainy day in the apartment. We were fortunate to have the best weather - nonetheless, it's nice to come back to a modern, spacious apartment after a day at the beach or a dune hike. Those who, like us, bring bicycles, trailers, or similar items on vacation can store them securely under Yvonne and Willem's holiday apartment in the huge storage room, protecting them from the elements. The only tiny flaw - if you can even call it that - is the quiet location at the outskirts of the village near the dune entrance, which was not a problem for us at all due to the bicycles and the wagon Willem lent us.
Yvonne and Willem are really very nice, helpful, and always ready to help with smaller or larger problems!
We can definitely highly recommend the holiday apartment and would love to vacation there again anytime.

An all-round great holiday to feel good about
The flat is equipped with everything you need (and more). The beds are very comfortable and the flat is bright, friendly and modern.
It is located on the outskirts of the village and is therefore very quiet
The landlords are very friendly and accommodating. You felt at home from the first moment and could therefore relax wonderfully.

Can we highly recommend!
We spent four lovely days here with 2 adults and 1 child (5) and are extremely satisfied.
The landlady is very nice, laid-back, and accommodating.
The apartment is well laid out, spacious, and beautifully furnished.
What I must mention here in particular: I have never experienced a holiday home so perfectly equipped. Everything that a person needs on vacation has been thought of here, and not just in the kitchen. In addition to the essential equipment (which is not always complete with some other landlords), there are also about 1000 small things that were considered. I thought that was great!
Bed linen and towels were included and smelled invitingly fresh!
We were greeted with flowers and fresh strawberries from the garden. Thank you :-)
I would also like to mention that colder days were taken into account. It is not given that one can turn up the heating in the evening or on a fresh morning to raise the temperature a bit - I have often experienced that from April on, the vacation rentals remained cold and unchangeable - not here! For me, a big plus point.
What I did not like so much was the location of the apartment. Although it is very close to the dunes and the walk to the town/beach is also no problem, you live in the midst of two houses and have zero view. In this context, it was also a pity that there was no outdoor area where one could sit.
Wi-Fi is available, but usually very weak.
Overall, we would come back anytime and can definitely recommend this apartment!

We will return!
We were here in the summer with two children (8 and 10) and felt comfortable right away. Yvonne is a very nice and helpful host, the apartment clean, bright, and friendly, and exactly as shown in the photos. The fact that the bedrooms are a bit darker did not bother us - we were at the beach or cycling all day anyway. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we were able to sleep very well. We had enough space for our bikes and all our beach stuff in the lockable storage area under the apartment.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die nahe Brandweer ist überhaupt kein Problem und auch sonst ist die Straße sehr, sehr ruhig gelegen. Zum Meer sind wir mit dem Fahrrad gefahren (Strand Zuid ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Rad), aber auch zu Fuß kein Problem. Und nicht zu vergessen die wunderschöne Dünenlandschaft nördlich und südlich des Ortes und von der Wohnung unmittelbar zu erreichen- sehr wohltuend.
shopping facilities: Zum Bäcker sind's 3 Minuten mit dem Rad und zu Albert Heijn ca. 5 Minuten. Im Ort gibt's dann noch einen Supermarkt, den C1000.
Wir sind mehrere Male nach Alkmaar mit dem Fahrrad gefahren, wo man im Übrigen wunderbar in den kleinen Läden bummeln und einkaufen kann. Hoorn, Volendam, Insel Marken, Amsterdam sind auch wunderbar zu erreichen. Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist auch der Fisch des Hausherren. Sehr lecker!!!

Yvonne, wir kommen wieder !
Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und bietet alles, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt - und noch mehr.
Die offene Küche und das daran angrenzende offene Wohn-/Esszimmer sind sehr groß, sodass man auch mit 4 erwachsenen Personen mal einen Schlechtwetter-Tag in der Wohnung verbringen könnte...wir hatten glücklicherweise bestes Wetter - dennoch ist es schön, wenn man nach einem Tag am Strand oder einer Dünenwanderung in eine moderne, großzügige Wohnung kommt.
Wer wie wir Fahrräder, Fahrradanhänger o. ä. mit in den Urlaub nimmt, kann diese sehr gut bei Yvonne und Willem in dem riesigen Lagerraum unter der Ferienwohnung abstellen, sodass diese vor Wind und Wetter geschützt sind.
Der einzige kleine Makel - wenn man überhaupt davon sprechen kann - ist die ruhige Ortsrandlage am Düneneingang, was für uns aufgrund der Fahrräder und des Bollerwagens, den uns Willem geliehen hat, gar kein Problem war.
Yvonne und Willem sind wirklich sehr nett, hilfsbereit und stehen bei kleineren oder auch größeren Problemen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite!
Wir können die Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder Urlaub dort machen.
Sie liegt am Ortsrand und ist somit sehr ruhig.
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt und konnte somit herrlich entspannen.

Die Wohnung ist gut und großzügig geschnitten und sehr hübsch eingerichtet.
Was ich hier besonders erwähnen muss: ich habe noch nie ein so perfekt ausgestattetes Feriendomizil erlebt. Hier wurde wirklich an alles gedacht, was der Mensch im Urlaub so braucht, und das nicht nur in der Küche. Es gibt neben der zwingend notwendigen Ausstattung (die auch nicht immer komplett ist bei manch anderem Vermieter) noch gefühlte 1000 kleine Dinge, an die auch noch gedacht wurde. Das fand ich ganz toll!
Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren inklusive und dufteten einladend frisch!
Wir wurden mit Blumen und frischen Erdbeeren aus dem eigenen Garten empfangen. Danke :-)
Ebenfalls möchte ich erwähnen, dass auch an kältere Tage gedacht wurde. Es ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit, dass man abends oder am frischen Morgen mal die Heizung aufdrehen und die Temperatur etwas anheben kann - ich habe oft erlebt, dass ab April die Ferienwohnungen unveränderbar kalt blieben - hier nicht! Für mich ein großer Pluspunkt.
Was ich nicht so gut fand, war die Lage der Wohnung. Zwar liegt sie ganz nahe den Dünen und der Marsch in die Stadt/ zum Strand ist auch kein Problem, allerdings wohnt man inmitten zweier Häuser und hat null Ausblick. In dem Zusammenhang war es auch schade, dass es keinen Außenbereich gab, in dem man sich sitzend hätte aufhalten können.
W-LAN ist vorhanden, aber meist nur sehr schwach.
Alles in allem würden wir aber jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!
Zum Wohlfühlen, 2 Ehepaare mittleren Alters, völlig ausreichender Platz.
Einziger Negativpunkt - wenn überhaupt: die Aussicht auf das Dach des zu nahen Nachbarhauses. Uns hat es kaum gestört!
Kommen gerne nochmals hierher.
