The brick cottage, situated under an old stand of trees in the small village of Garfeln near Lippstadt, was completely renovated in spring 2024 and expanded for 4 to 6 people. In the main house, there are two bedrooms on the upper floor. On the ground floor, there is a spacious kitchen, dining, and living area with two outdoor terraces. The special feature of our holiday cottage is that it stands on a 600 sqm plot. Families have a 5000 sqm playground right outside the door. Cyclists can start directly into the surrounding area on designated cycle paths.
The 80 sqm of living space are divided as follows:
on the ground floor there is the open living, kitchen and dining area and the guest WC
on the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms; one with a double bed and one with two single beds and a separate toilet
The main bathroom is located in the outbuilding and is only 5 steps away from the main house. In the annex there is another bedroom for 2 people with its own bathroom, which can be booked additionally as an option. This allows you to spend your holiday with up to 6 people.
Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price.

The detached holiday cottage is located near Lippstadt between dairy farms, right next to a huge children's playground and is therefore ideally suited for young families. It is idyllically situated in the middle of the small village of Garfeln on a quiet country road. Garfeln is located in the heart of Westphalia and offers an ideal starting point for cycling tours around the Lippe, to the Delbrück region or to Münsterland. By car, you can reach the Sauerland in 45 minutes, Paderborn in 30 minutes, or beautiful Lippstadt in 10 minutes.

We are the sisters Ruth and Dorothee and have lovingly renovated and furnished this cozy little house in our hometown Garfeln. We now live with our families in Krefeld and Erkelenz, but we love the rural surroundings and slowing down, and would like to share this feeling with our guests.
