Description
Take a holiday in Småland, the home of Pippi Longstocking and Michel from Lönneberga!
The house STOCKHOLM was renovated in spring 2017, the veranda was renewed in 2018. All modern equipment such as dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, satellite TV, DVD and CD player are available. It also offers our guests a wood-burning stove and a Klafs sauna. The house has enough space for 6 people in three bedrooms. Of course, all beds and mattresses are new.
The holiday home has a fast internet connection (WLAN) and is very child-friendly.
During the high season from June to August, a kayak and a rowing boat are available for free use and invite you to go on excursions on the large lake. Arrival and departure day during the high season is Saturday.

The house is surrounded by a large garden and a covered terrace, where even cooler evenings can be enjoyed in the evening sun. Approx. 200 to the local lake with a swimming area. Just minutes to the supermarket and pharmacy. A kayak and a rowboat ( m) allow nice trips on the big lake. The house is in the village in the municipality of Västervik Ankarsrum near the archipelago of the Baltic Sea. Västervik is favored in a moderate climate region of Sweden with a lot of sunny days, even in the late fall and winter. Versatile family vacation in southern Sweden
The house was perfect for our family of four. We had plenty of space and the kids could run around everywhere. I would like to highlight the very well-equipped kitchen; we could have even baked a cake.
The location was perfect for us. Often we were still by the lake in the evenings or took a ride on our bikes. The Villa Stockholm and Ankarsrum offer everything to make vacation days with children as stress-free as possible and to leave the car parked for a while. Whether it's the COOP for fresh rolls in the morning, a well-maintained bathing area, a nice playground, various fishing opportunities nearby, forest and plenty of nature in direct proximity, and also local places where you can go out to eat in the evening. If you want to go further away, Ankarsrum is also perfectly located. Excursions to Västervik, the moose park in Virum, to Astrid Lindgren in Vimmerby, to Katthulthof, or to surrounding national parks (Norra Kvill)! ) - everything can be easily reached in under an hour.
Communication with the landlord was very friendly, quick, and smooth.
We had a great time and can recommend the holiday home without reservation.

Beautiful holiday in Sweden
On our first holiday in Sweden, we couldn't have chosen better. There was enough space for our family of five inside and outside, and the typical Swedish house was well equipped. We were able to use the rowing boat and the canoe in the nearby Langsjön in wonderful weather. The convenient location to the highway to Vimmerby or Västervik is also great, so that many activities could be reached quickly by car. We especially liked the trips to Hasselö Island, Gränsö, Virum Elk Park, Katthult and the Astrid Lindgren World. All in all, a successful holiday, thank you Mr Rehder.

Perfect summer vacation
The special charm of Haus Stockholm immediately appealed to us. The spacious, typically Swedish house is very cozy and well-maintained. The equipment is perfect, really everything is available. Last but not least, the spacious terrace and the garden in the quiet neighborhood contribute a lot to relaxation and well-being. The location is also highly recommended. The lake, which we reached on foot in a few minutes (in flip-flops and bathing trunks), is beautiful. We explored it daily by swimming and rowing. When my brother, a fisherman, saw our photos of Långsjön, he would have packed his things and come here too. Even though we were well served with the lake, the house, and fast Wi-Fi during the daily 30°C in this century summer, we still went on many excursions. Our "children" (13/16 years old) will remember best the Adventure Park "Nils Holgersson" with its climbing rope garden, the moose safari in the Virum Älgpark (where one of the moose actually kisses you), the picturesque towns of Vimmerby and Västervik, and, a little further away, the seven locks of the Göta Canal in Berg (Linköping). Not to mention the Kleva Gru mine (4°C, how wonderfully cool...). Three days before the return journey, our daughter declared: "It's so awesome here, the house, the lake...actually, I don't want to go home anymore." Thank you very much, Mr. Rehder, everything was perfect from A to Z!
