Discover the holiday apartment FEWO ALTES TROENDLEHUS in Bernau in the southern Black Forest – your retreat for relaxing vacation days as a couple, with family, or friends.
On 60 m² – on the mezzanine floor with 4 (-2) steps – a lovingly designed home awaits you with: 2 bedrooms – equipped with a large canopy bed in one and – especially for children: 2 separable mattresses in the second (if necessary, also a third for a sleeping area for 3 children). In the living area, the spacious sofa offers you relaxation, including for your TV enjoyment, while in the entrance dining room a large sideboard with dishware and clothing compartment and a solid wooden table in front of a corner bench and a tiled stove replica invite you to cozy shared meals and game nights.

The narrow kitchen offers a refrigerator with freezer compartment, with a coffee machine and kettle on top, an electric stove, and tall cabinets for cooking utensils. It also contains the hot water boiler.
The small bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin, and toilet, thus providing modest comfort.
You regulate the heat in all rooms as needed via infrared natural stone heaters.

Formerly a high school teacher, I am spending my retirement here in Bernauer Weierle, mostly living in the neighboring house, while my brother with his family and friends uses the 'Old Troendle House' in the main living area mainly on weekends and for vacations. We acquired the house, which dates from the mid-18th century, in the early 1990s out of a love for the old Black Forest house culture, and we ourselves made much of it consciously and appropriately habitable as a listed building. We hope you share with us the joy of that traditional flair that awaits you here, and feel the desire to let it take effect on you. . . .
