Welcome to the “Strandkoje”—your stylish vacation rental on the Flensburg Fjord. Spanning a spacious 110 square meters on the first floor, this comfortable temporary home accommodates up to 5 people—ideal for families or getaways with friends.
The highlight of the apartment is the exceptionally beautiful sea view: the fjord is only about 50 meters away and provides a maritime ambiance throughout your stay. The nearest sandy beach is about 2 km away and easily accessible—perfect for relaxing days by the water.
The apartment features two separate bedrooms as well as a bright living area with a cozy sofa corner. A private dining area offers plenty of space for shared meals and social evenings. High-quality hardwood floors create a pleasant living atmosphere.
The enclosed kitchen is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired: a ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, and dishwasher are included, as are a coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and a wide range of kitchen accessories.
The bathroom features a combination of shower and bathtub—ideal for a refreshing start to the day or a relaxing end to it. Bed linens, towels, and a starter kit are, of course, included.
A washing machine and dryer for your use, as well as an iron and other practical appliances, provide additional comfort. Wi-Fi (25 Mbps or faster) and a TV with international channels offer you flexibility for entertainment and staying connected.
The location is also impressive: restaurants are just a few steps away, and the McMelson Old English Pub is located on the ground floor of the building. Shopping options are a short distance away. Public transportation and the ferry are also easily accessible—a car is not strictly necessary.

We had a great time in the historic, very spacious apartment. With beautiful, authentic details and the small flaws one can expect, like a creaky and slightly slanted floor, but that gives the house character. The surroundings are lively: The view of the fjord and the harbor is wonderful, with the beautiful (tiltable) windows open in the elevated seating area, where one can enjoy nature with a nice drink. With the fresh sea air comes the sound of a busy street and the nightlife. The neighbor on the ground floor, Mc Melson's, is a nice English pub where you can enjoy a beer or a whiskey. At the back, you can walk to the shopping streets in no time. There are several restaurants here and around the harbor. In short, lively and everything within walking distance. If you like peace and quiet... you better search a little further.
