The bathtub was really nice, but it could be a bit difficult for people with limited mobility. The room was in good condition, even though its age was noticeable. A power outlet near the bed would have been practical. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, and I thought it was great that there was a kettle available. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and offered a good selection. The location was excellent, as the subway was just a few steps away. The train station and the Westfalenhalle were also quickly reachable. Overall, I would definitely come back.

Overall, we were very satisfied, however, it would be nice if there were more fresh fruit available at the breakfast buffet. The location of the hotel is simply perfect. Moreover, it is a small, family-run hotel with very friendly staff. Anytime again!

I have stayed several times over the holidays in this small, charming hotel. It always has a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The bar is perfect for a relaxed drink in the evening. Sometimes the menu took a little while to work, but that didn't harm my stay.

The Mercure Hotel Dortmund City is an excellent choice for a stay! The location is perfect for exploring the German Football Museum. The subway quickly takes you to Signal Iduna Park, where the Borusseum is worth a visit!

I missed the fresh scrambled eggs, the rooms were well equipped and the mattresses very comfortable, the quiet location to the courtyard was pleasant, the breakfast was tasty and the staff always friendly.

The breakfast buffet could be a bit more varied, but overall the stay was pleasant. The room was very appealing, clean, and offered plenty of space. The bathroom had a nice bathtub.

The hotel does not have its own parking garage, but you can conveniently park in the nearby parking garage in Freistuhl, which, however, must be paid for yourself. Upon arrival on holidays or outside regular opening hours, the hotel can open the parking garage for you if you call in advance. The location is perfect, right in the center, and since the rooms are on the upper floors, it is pleasantly quiet. Our room was very spacious, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We spent time there over Christmas, and it was simply ideal.

The shower was a bit small, but overall our stay was pleasant. The location of the hotel near the train station and the parking garage (14 €/day) was very convenient. We were able to quickly reach everything we wanted to visit.

The breakfast was not quite to my taste. The selection was somewhat limited, and I missed scrambled eggs, which I believe are simply part of a good breakfast. The rolls were baked and sometimes a bit dry, which I found unfortunate. Fresh rolls would have been ideal. The coffee machine was also somewhat impractical, as one had to wait a bit to get their coffee. The staff could have perhaps been a bit more attentive to reset the tables faster. Next time, I would prefer to try the bakery on the ground floor. However, the location of the hotel was fantastic! We were in the middle of the action and were able to visit the Christmas market, which was great. After a few mulled wines, it was just wonderful to fall straight into bed. The lady at the reception was really friendly and helpful.

It was a bit loud, as some construction work was taking place nearby. The windows could use a cleaning. A small refrigerator in the room would be practical. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The transport connections are excellent and the location in the middle of the city is simply great.

The parking situation is somewhat challenging. The rates in the parking garage are quite high. For the time from 2:00 PM to 10:45 AM the next morning, you pay 32 €, which I find a bit exaggerated. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is overall acceptable.

The hotel is easy to overlook, as it is located in a commercial building on Kampstraße on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors. The most noticeable sign is the 'Mercure' sign, which is mounted high up. The entrance door to the elevators is rather inconspicuous, and only a small sticker on one of the doorbell buttons indicates that you are in the right place. However, the location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the main train station, and the subway station is just around the corner. The lobby on the 3rd floor is inviting, and the room as well as the bathroom are nicely designed. The price is reasonable, especially since a tasty breakfast is included in the price.
