Vacation in a very beach-close holiday home on the Baltic Sea with up to 4 dogs and 2 people. Up to 4 dogs (regardless of size and breed) are always warmly welcome. The dog beach is directly at "our" beach access, which can be reached without steps.
Small, very beach-close holiday home with wood-burning stove, massage chair with reclining function, kitchenette, dining area with a view of the garden, one bedroom with double bed, small bathroom with shower/WC, furnished south-facing terrace. Approx. 400 m², of which approx. 150 m² fenced garden, directly adjoining the terrace.
Our detached holiday home on the Baltic Sea on the beautiful peninsula Fischland Darss Zingst in Ahrenshoop OT Niehagen is located at the narrowest point between Bodden and sea by the Ahrenshoop dune forest on a private road.
Many call Ahrenshoop the Sylt of the East. Enjoy the very quiet dream location, with no through traffic, no main road to cross to reach the beach (which is very common in Ahrenshoop, but not mentioned), and no tourist traffic… simply put on your bathrobe and off to the beach.
Relax here in a unique microclimate. You can hear the sound of the sea when the waves are up and reach the beach for swimming and the cliffs in just a few meters. Here begins one of the most beautiful sections of the Baltic Sea beach at Ahrenshoop, with an endlessly seeming, unspoiled beach along the cliffs and a breathtaking distant view over the sea. Forest and fields are also directly opposite the house, inviting you to go exploring, for example with your four-legged friend.
The old artists’ village of Ahrenshoop captivates with its cliffs. The famous Hohe Ufer between Ahrenshoop and Wustrow is an approximately 3 km long and up to 16 meter high so-called active cliff, which is also home to hundreds of terns. You can reach it via idyllic paths along the steep coast and also through the dune forest. Nature here still has its original charm and yet many interesting activities are offered. The bunker that crashed into the sea in February 2024 can be reached from the house with a short walk. The nearby, unspoiled West Beach borders the Darss Forest and is one of the most impressive beaches in the world. The beautiful Bodden landscape also has its own special charm. Enjoy the peaceful dream location of the house, just a few steps from the Baltic Sea beach and far from the hectic everyday life. You can take advantage of the immediate proximity to the sandy beach for daily swimming in the Baltic Sea. Whether you want to jump into the sea at sunrise, sunbathe or swim during the day, simply go for a walk, or enjoy the romantic sunset in the evening without having to cover long distances on foot or by car.
Your car will find a parking space next to the house on the property. They have their very own personal oasis of well-being by the sea, where they can relax completely after a day full of impressions. The bright living/dining room offers a feel-good atmosphere at any time of year. The electric massage chair with reclining function, for example, massages your back or simply lets you relax without a massage... The romantic bedroom invites you to sweet dreams. Equipment:
- 1 bedroom with double bed,
- Living room with dining area, satellite/40 inch LED TV, massage chair, wood-burning stove, and fold-out sofa bed. Extra bed in the living room (sofa unfolded as sleeping area 150×200 cm),
- small, well-equipped kitchen
- small bathroom with toilet/shower
- entrance area with wardrobe and closet with cleaning equipment
Electric heaters and a romantic wood-burning stove provide cozy warmth at any time of year. If you enjoy cooking, the small kitchen offers you many things you need to give free rein to your culinary skills.
On the approximately 400 m² property, you can enjoy the sound of the sea on the sheltered south-facing terrace at the large garden table, soak up the sun, and in the evening perhaps experience one of the most beautiful starry skies in a romantic atmosphere with a glass of wine.
Relax in summer on our sun loungers or in the beach chair. Hedges and privacy screens let you lie in the sun unobserved.
The house is ideal for a holiday for two, alone, and especially PREFERRED with your beloved DOG(S) ❤️
At any time of year, it is beautiful here on the Baltic Sea; every kind of weather has its own special charm with sun, wind, snow, and the sound of the waves! The Bodden, which can be reached in about a 10-minute walk and has well-developed paths, is always worth a walk or bike ride.

We love animals and the Baltic Sea, especially the proximity to the sea, the silence, and the sound of the waves, which you can already hear on the terrace. The romantic sunsets and also the starry sky at night are so incredibly beautiful. Here, time seems to pass even more slowly, you relax and enjoy the pure air and the beautiful sea with its magnificent surroundings. Even for animals with breathing problems or short-snouted breeds, a relaxing walk by the sea is truly refreshing.
