The white, fine sandy Baltic Sea beach is only 800 m away.
From the beach you can enjoy a dream view of the lighthouse of Cape Arkona. The sunsets are impressive, as are walks along the beach promenade. The location in the "Wittower Heide," at the outskirts of Glowe, offers a perfect beach location and is the starting point for extensive walks and bike tours. Supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. Glowe was considered for centuries a place of traditional fishing craftsmanship and is today a state-recognized resort.
Here, the cliffs of the Jasmund peninsula meet the fine sandy beach of the Schaabe, an extensive spit on the Tromper Wiek. Quietly situated on the Königshörn cliff—directly between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden waters.
The Jasmundtherme with swimming pool, sauna, etc. is located 8 km away. Ideal location for numerous excursions, such as Kap Arkona, Hiddensee Island, chalk cliffs, Jasmund National Park, Sassnitz fishing harbor, Mukran ferry port, seaside resorts Binz and Sellin, climbing forest and toboggan run in Bergen, Gingst amusement park, Störtebeker open-air festival in Ralswiek, Spyker Castle and Dinoland, boat trips, sightseeing flights, ferry ride to Scandinavia, German Oceanographic Museum Ozeanum Stralsund.
