The breakfast selection was varied and delicious, although there were sometimes shortages of dishes, this was quickly resolved. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the staff, who even brought a kettle for my wife's hot water bottles to our room. Our junior suite was bright and inviting, with a very comfortable bed and a clean bathroom with a bathtub. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and there is ample parking for all guests.

The room service could be a bit better. It took three days for our used cups and glasses to be changed. Bathrobes were not available in the room; we had to pick them up at the reception, which was a bit impractical since we were informed that we would have to pay for them if they were missing at checkout. During our four-day stay, only one staff member was really friendly, which I found a bit disappointing. The floor in the restroom by the pool could have been cleaned more thoroughly, as the footprints were visible for several days. Overall, cleanliness in some areas was not quite optimal; it was a bit dusty and there were some cobwebs, especially in the dining area, where it was a bit dirty around the fans and on the cabinets. Many chairs and cabinets also had small signs of wear. Nevertheless, we really liked the location and the outdoor facilities, as well as the historical charm of the building and the furnishings.
