It's unfortunate that such a fantastic hotel has such a frustrating booking and customer service process, I've tried multiple times to reach out via phone and email to make a reservation, only to be met with silence or a rather dismissive reply when I finally did hear back, If it weren't for online booking, I doubt I would have been able to secure a stay here, I really can't comprehend why the hotel has made it so challenging to spend my money with them, Please consider improving this, as you might be losing out on many potential guests, This hotel is truly one of the best we've experienced (having visited three times), The staff is wonderful, the service is top-notch," and the location and amenities are just right, I'm really looking forward to my next visit!"

The parking lot costs €12 per day, which I found acceptable. The location by the lake is simply stunning, and the proximity to Potsdam is another plus point. The breakfast was very plentiful and tasty, including a champagne reception, which was a nice gesture. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. My double room was nicely furnished and had great amenities like a coffee machine with coffee and tea, a hairdryer, and a bathrobe. The beds were extremely comfortable, and despite the hotel being fully booked, it was pleasantly quiet in the room.

The bathtub faucets with two knobs are somewhat unusual (beware of scalding, as the water can get very hot). It would be practical if there were coat hooks behind the door for jackets. We did not find the statues at the transition between the large and small breakfast rooms particularly appealing and somewhat old-fashioned. The location is fantastic, the room spacious with a view of the lake, cozy lighting, and excellent soundproofing (you can hardly hear anything from other guests). The spa area is very nice with three saunas, the food is delicious and offers a wide selection (breakfast and half board), and the service is mostly friendly and accommodating.

The e-charging station in the parking lot unfortunately did not work during my visit, but the staff was very helpful and made an effort to find a solution. The sauna area is a bit compact for a full house, but the ambiance is really nice. The location is ideal, not far from Werder and Caputh, with many opportunities for relaxing walks by the picturesque lakes. I was delighted that gluten-free food was no problem and everything at the buffet was very well labeled. The service staff at breakfast and dinner was extremely friendly and motivated!
