Your holiday home is part of a former small farm near Lake Altwigshagen, with a very large plot of land, an annex, and a barn. Built around the mid-19th century as a half-timbered house, it has been rebuilt and extended several times, once almost burned down, and is outwardly rather unremarkable in its current state, but inside it offers an all the more charming accommodation for your (family) holiday. In addition to the modern materials used until a few years ago, we have recently partially exposed the still existing timber framework and restored the clay infill or applied new clay plaster. The floorboards have been sanded, including traces of woodworm.
Free Wi-Fi is available via the modern fiber optic connection. Solar-powered blinds are installed on the street side.
However, the highlight of the holiday home is the emerging garden with approx. 3,000 sqm of space.

The village of Altwigshagen with its idyllic bathing lake is located in the Oderhaff Nature Park, easily accessible by car from the federal highway 109 via a spur road. There is no through traffic on the cobblestone main street, as it only leads to a few smaller villages and then disappears into the area of the Große Friedländer Wiese, a paradise especially for bird lovers.

Pure relaxation in the garden oasis
A beautiful clean holiday home with a very large well-maintained garden.
The house has everything you need.
In 2 minutes you are at a beautiful swimming lake. For shopping, you have to drive about 10 minutes.
The seaside resort of Ueckermünde and other beaches at the Szczecin Lagoon can be reached by car in about 15 minutes.
The host is very accommodating and always responds in advance.
The accommodation is recommended for dogs and those seeking peace with the garden paradise.

Relaxation in the garden oasis
We had a thoroughly relaxing vacation in Altwigshagen. Those who want to escape everyday life and enjoy peace are exactly right here.
The accommodation was very clean and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. We were particularly thrilled with the large garden, which was simply ideal for our dog, offering plenty of space to romp and run.
The landlord was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Even before booking, our questions were answered quickly and reliably, so we felt well taken care of from the very beginning.
The Altwigshagener See is reachable in less than two minutes on foot and invites relaxed walks. Additionally, there are several excursion destinations in the area, including the Ueckermünde Zoo, which can also be visited with a dog, the Szczecin Lagoon in Ueckermünde, the Ukranenland, Anklam, etc. Anyone who doesn't mind a slightly longer drive can even take a trip to the Baltic Sea. We can recommend the dog beach in Lubmin - about an hour's drive from Altwigshagen.
We really enjoyed our stay and can recommend the accommodation, especially for those traveling with a dog and seeking peace in nature.
