Take the ferry from the reception and within minutes you will be in the historic center of Grou, full of local charm. Day trips to the Frisian capital of Leeuwarden offer cultural highlights such as the Fries Museum.

Dining in and around Grou is a real treat. Just 400 yards away, Oan't Wetter offers waterfront views and serves local dishes. For a relaxed lunch or a drink at sunset, head to Het Theehuis—a favorite among locals, located on the waterfront.You can do your fresh grocery shopping at the nearby supermarket, and it's easy to rent a boat or bicycle so you can explore this beautiful region while enjoying all the comforts of home.
