Located on a sunny southern slope at 1000m above sea level, you will spend your vacation right in the beautiful Brüggelekopf hiking area!
Our wooden house offers, in addition to rustic cabin flair, coziness and fantastic views, every comfort for a relaxing stay:
* modern kitchen with dishwasher, 2x flat-screen TV, open living-dining area, second living/bedroom, bathroom, separate WC, and Wi-Fi. * On the large terrace and in the garden you will find opportunities to relax, barbecue, or simply enjoy nature and the magnificent panorama!
* In addition to soothing warmth, you can also enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains from our in-house sauna (in the basement)!
* New from 2026: Infrared cabin for optimal regeneration and relaxation after a day of hiking or skiing!
* 2 tiled stoves provide a crackling atmosphere and cozy warmth on cold days! (Firewood included.) )

From early May to late October, you receive the Bregenzerwald Card free of charge with a stay of 3 nights or more! All cable cars, outdoor pools, and hiking buses in the region can be used free of charge with it!

In a quiet, small holiday home settlement you live in a family-friendly way, away from noise, hustle and bustle, and everyday life.
Above Egg in the middle Bregenzerwald, situated at the edge of the forest at 1000 meters above sea level, you have a magnificent view of the villages in the valley and the surrounding mountains. Even when thick fog hangs in the valley, you can enjoy the sun here!
Directly from the house you can start into the hiking paradise of Bregenzerwald! Mountain bike tours, snowshoe hiking, tobogganing fun in beautiful nature. Numerous family ski resorts are located in the nearby area (approx. 15 minutes by car).
In winter, snow chains may be required!

Beautiful holiday week
Dear Susanne and family, we would like to sincerely thank you for this wonderful time with you. Very cozy holiday home. Very well equipped. The view is lovely and also very beautiful in winter, a quiet location in a great ambiance where one can relax and find peace. We enjoyed the tranquility, the crackling of the fire in the stove, and the sauna with cooling off in the snow very much. Beautiful terrace, where sun and shade can be found all day long. We were warmly and very lovingly welcomed, we were provided with everything we needed. The surroundings invite a variety of activities or excursion destinations. Beautiful hikes can start at the house.
We would love to come back!

a very beautiful house
We were a total of four adults, four children, and two dogs and spent our ski vacation there.
The house is beautifully and cozily furnished. The inventory leaves nothing to be desired!
The welcome from the hostess was very warm, inviting, and well organized, so the house was already heated upon our arrival.
The only challenge can be the road to the house in snow.
Directly from the house, you can take beautiful hikes. The next larger ski area is about half an hour away in Mellau. Wellness can be enjoyed in Bad Reuthe, which can be reached in about 20 minutes.
Everything is included in the price except for electricity!
Overall, we had a very nice vacation and can highly recommend the house.

Turning off made easy
From the first moment, we felt safe and very well received. Many "little things" show the loving service from Susanne. Anyone who does not feel comfortable right away cannot be helped anymore. The surroundings are a dream, the view is unparalleled and already provides a great start to the day during breakfast on the terrace. The furnishings are practical and very extensive. Susanne is always ready to add something if anything is missing. We are still very excited and associate only beautiful memories with the vacation! Thank you!
