Relax holiday home "Faulenzia" at Twistesee in Bad Arolsen
This dreamlike holiday home was completely renovated in 2025 and is among the most modern and, in terms of amenities, most comfortable tent-roof-style holiday homes in the holiday village at Twistesee. The equipment makes the difference. In the "Faulenzia" realm, everything is geared towards relaxation. The highlight is the relaxation room with a 2-person comfort infrared sauna!

The holiday home is located in Bad Arolsen at Twistesee. The residential town of the Princes of Waldeck with its imposing castle is a much underrated vacation area with excellent tourist infrastructure – and thus an attractive alternative to the other Waldeck lakes and vacation destinations Edersee, Diemelsee, and Willingen/Upland.

4-room non-smoking comfort holiday house for 2-5(6) people with WiFi, three bedrooms, infrared sauna, veranda, large 40 sqm terrace (securely fenced for dogs) and beautifully surrounded by forest. The lake is about 150m

Layout ground floor:
- large living/dining area with TV, soundbar.
- open kitchen with counter and TOP equipment, leaving hardly any wishes unfulfilled: among others, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, PAD machine, kettle, toaster, blender, waffle iron/sandwich toaster
- flexible relaxation room with 2-person infrared sauna, relaxation sofa and TV. The sofa can be converted into a bed for additional persons 5-6.
- modern shower room with window, washing machine and hairdryer. A bathroom radio is also provided! Layout upper floor (with steep staircase):
- one bedroom with double bed (160x200) and TV
- second bedroom with 2 single beds, desk, TV, and sound system

Outdoor area:
- 40 sqm large relaxation terrace (fenced for child and dog safety) with dining table, electric grill, and a relaxation corner (from May 2026).
- Veranda in front of the entrance

Comprehensive amenities that leave little to be desired: Wi-Fi, washing machine, ironing utensils, hiking backpack, trekking poles, board games, and much more. A central parking lot is located approx. 60m from the house. Car e-charging stations are located at the entrance to the holiday village.

A medium-sized dog is welcome for a fee: It must be well-behaved and is not allowed in beds, on the sofa, or on armchairs. In case of non-compliance, the landlord reserves the right to charge extra cleaning costs, as well as if the house is heavily covered in hair, there is strong odor, or other animal-related causes. Dogs must be house-trained and may not bark continuously when there are noises from the immediate neighborhood.

In the holiday village there is a beautiful playground, a volleyball court, mini-golf (free of charge), and a tennis court. From the house to the lake it is about 150m on foot. At Lake Twiste there are

Bad Arolsen with its Twistesee in the Waldeck region is a wonderful, but often underestimated holiday destination for pleasure-seekers and families – and therefore a distinct alternative to the other Waldeck lakes – Edersee and Diemelsee. ✔✔✔ The spa town with its imposing residential palace was the seat of the Princes of Waldeck. There are several parks, spa clinics, the Arobella leisure pool, as well as an attractive shopping street for strolling. The traditional Kram & Livestock Market (early Aug.) ) is one of the largest folk festivals in Hesse. ✔✔✔ The holiday village Twistesee is beautifully nestled in the wooded nature surrounding the lake. In the holiday village there is a playground, volleyball court, tennis court, and free mini golf. Super beautiful!

Total beautiful, clean, and lovingly furnished holiday home. The location is also super nice, idyllic, and quiet, with many hiking and excursion possibilities. Surely this is not the last visit.
