The bright and friendly non-smoking apartment (approx. 60 sqm, 3 rooms) with high-quality furnishings is allergy-friendly. Pets are therefore not allowed. The apartment is fully tiled, with terracotta in the living area. Free Wi-Fi is now also available.
Four people can sleep comfortably in the two bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is equipped with a double bed (180x200) (2 adjustable slatted frames). In the 2nd... In the bedroom there are two single beds (90 x 200, also with adjustable slatted frames). The second bedroom can be used as a children's room, but is also well suited for two adults (see photos). There is a separate workspace here. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains.
In the well-equipped separate kitchen you will find a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with *** freezer compartment, electric kettle, coffee machine, stove (ceramic hob) with oven, toaster, egg cooker. Dish soap, dishwasher tabs, and cleaning agents are part of the equipment. Coffee machine filters, salt, sugar, and spices are also available in the kitchen. The electric grill can be used on the balcony.
You can always feel comfortable in the living room: a sofa and two cozy armchairs offer comfortable seating for four people. The large skylight is equipped with an external roller shutter, in addition to the interior blind. In the spacious bathroom (shower bath), a washing machine is available to guests free of charge. A hairdryer is also provided. On the approximately 10 sqm balcony, grilling is possible (electric grill). You have sun on the southwest-facing balcony from late morning until evening. The balcony is furnished with comfortable wicker chairs. Two Adirondack chairs are also available. Here you can enjoy the view over the Salzhaff undisturbed. Since the apartment is on the 2nd... From the property, you have a wide view over the Salzhaff all the way to Wismar.
You can also use the tree-lined private sunbathing lawn next to the house.
The bedroom windows, as well as the windows in the bathroom and kitchen, are fitted with insect screens.
For entertainment, there are books for adults and children. There are also various games, e.g. Ludo and other board games, snakes and ladders, Yahtzee, memory, card games, wooden train, . . . In the parking lot behind the house, there is a dedicated parking space for the apartment (sign: WE 5, Haffstr. 5a).
Bicycle storage options: Bicycles can be parked at the bottom of the basement stairs (about half a flight down). In the courtyard between Haffstr. 5 and 5a, there is a bicycle rack.
The house was built in 2001 using high-quality materials according to the latest standards. It is well insulated: in summer, the apartment does not get too warm and in winter, it heats well.

The holiday apartment 'Haffausblick' is an ideal starting point for walks along the Salzhaff with its piers, as well as to the cliffs and the sandy beach on the Baltic Sea, due to its central location. The pier can also be reached in just a few minutes. It is about 150 m to the spa promenade on the Salzhaff and to the harbor. The sandy beach on the Baltic Sea is about 250 m away. And it is only about 350 m to walk to the pier. Please see the exact location of the apartment on the map below. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and offers a beautiful panoramic view over the Salzhaff.
For breakfast, you can, for example, get rolls from the bakery at the church (you can also have breakfast there). The walk across the churchyard—past the old brick church—takes only five minutes. Rolls are also available at 'Markant' on Dünenstr. 1, at Bäcker Graf, or at the bakery in the Edeka market, Am Parkplatz 10.
Shops, post office, doctor, pharmacy, bicycle rental, and Sparkasse can be found in approx. 150 to 500 m distance. The post office is located in the Edeka market.
You can do your daily shopping at Edeka (Am Parkplatz 10, approx. 500 m). Edeka is open in summer (until the end of August) Mon to Fri 8 am - 8 pm, Sat 8 am - 7 pm, and Sundays 8 am - 12 pm. There is now also a Netto market right next to Edeka.
Fish shops with freshly caught fish can also be found nearby.
In the center of Rerik (just around the corner) you will find various restaurants and cafés. Restaurants and cafés on the spa promenade and at Haffplatz are also just a few minutes' walk away.
For example, there is a large selection of dishes (including pizza) and ice cream at the Italian restaurant 'San Remo' around the corner (Strandstr. 1). Many dishes can also be ordered and taken away. Then you can sit comfortably on your own balcony and eat there in peace. 'Zur Linde' is also just a few minutes away (Leuchtturmstr. 7). There you can also have a comfortable breakfast if you don't feel like making everything yourself. At the café 'Sauer & Saftig' (Dünenstr. 1) there is especially delicious cheesecake. You can also have breakfast here, e.g. with eggs, sausages and much more.
On the spa promenade you can sit outside at the restaurant 'Bi'n Luchtmaker' in good weather with a view of the Salzhaff and eat perhaps the best waffles in Meck-Pomm. At Haffplatz you will find more restaurants and cafes. The restaurant 'Steilküste' is located – as the name suggests – directly on the steep coast at the end of Parkweg. In summer, you can eat fresh fish outside with a view of the Baltic Sea.
Mini golf, sailing and boating, cycling (on many well-developed bike paths), surfing, diving, fishing, horseback riding and hiking are – alongside swimming in the Baltic Sea – popular leisure activities. Children also enjoy net fishing on the shallow shore of the Salzhaff. Directly below on the lagoon there is a nice children's playground and a boules court. The (http://www.surfschule-rerik.de/) offers many different courses. The courses in the shallow Salzhaff are especially suitable for children. The surf school can be found at Salzhaff, Am Haff 4. It is quickly and easily reachable on foot from the holiday apartment. You can rent a sailboat or take a sailing course at the Salzhaff (at the end of Haffstr.) at the Segelschule Rerik (http://www.segelschule-rerik.de/). de/, Details can be found on the internet).
A round trip on the Salzhaff (approx. 2 hours) with the passenger ship MS 'Ostseebad Rerik' is also popular. The nature reserve peninsula Wustrow, the ‘forbidden’ peninsula Wustrow, can be visited with a guided tour or by horse-drawn carriage.
In Rerik, for example, the following are regularly offered: Hike to the megalithic tombs, guided hike: "Nature and landscape around Rerik", beach hike: thunderbolt & co. , Wustrow tour (the forbidden Wustrow peninsula) with round trip, exhibitions and much more. In the St. Johannis Church (early Gothic brick building) there are guided tours and music events. Good day, we bought the apartment in 2010 and have been renting it out since then. But we also spend a few days in the apartment from time to time, as we like being in Rerik. Rerik is a nice place, well suited for a relaxing holiday.
