Welcome to the holiday home Küstenrose in the Baltic Sea resort Hohwacht on the Bay of Kiel – a perfect vacation residence for up to 6 guests!

The holiday home Küstenrose is a non-smoking house with two terraces and a fenced garden, where you can enjoy the sun all day long. It features a bright, open, and modern design. On a spacious 123 m², you will find three comfortable bedrooms each with a double bed, two comfortable bathrooms, and a bright and cozy living/dining room with an open kitchen, offering plenty of space for shared relaxation and privacy. A whirlpool tub, a sauna, and a fireplace provide relaxation and comfort, especially during the transitional season and in winter. A TV and free Wi-Fi offer entertainment and information. The modern, fully equipped, open kitchen and a large dining table are waiting for you – but you'll still have to cook yourself.

As a former fishing village, Hohwacht, with its 900 inhabitants, has preserved its originality.
A bakery, restaurants, a café, and the spa park can be found about 600 m away. The local supermarket (1.1 km) and more than a dozen beach accesses (1–2 km) can also be easily reached on foot.
The Hohwachter Bay on the Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea coast offers more than just a beach holiday: culture, nature, and plenty of space for a break. Nature lovers can let their souls unwind in the adjacent nature reserve. On the new nature discovery trail "Where the Cranes Dance," you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape in every season, on foot or by bicycle. There is also action at the surf and sailing school, on the golf course, or on a day trip to Hansa Park.

The municipality of Hohwacht charges a spa tax.
Spa tax season:
01.01.-31.05.: €1.50/person per day
01.06.-30.09.: €2.50/person per day
01.10.-31.12.: €1.50/person per day
Children under 18 years are exempt from the spa tax. Pupils, students, and trainees receive a 30% discount, disabled persons with a degree of disability of at least 80 receive a 50% discount on the spa tax.

I got to know Hohwacht as a child 20 years ago and fell in love with the place. Since June 2023, I have been renting out the holiday home Küstenrose to allow others to experience this idyll and tranquility as well.
