Everything's great :-)
This 2-story apartment in a historic miners' house makes the holiday/stay in the "Pott" very special! Super new and chic renovated, we felt very comfortable with Carla + Jürgen! It has a good location to public transport (12 min walk to the tram, which comes every 10 - 15 min, 3 min to the bike path on the old mining railway line (good network throughout the area), 3 stations to Zeche Zollverein (with its many possibilities: Ruhr Museum, Design Museum, exciting tours!! ), direct connections to the neighboring cities of Gelsenkirchen, Bochum, Bottrop, Mülheim - we can gladly recommend them.
Small limitation: for very large/strong people, the bathroom is somewhat challenging, but you get used to it :-), the steep stairs to the bedrooms also take some getting used to :-)
We would love to come again.

Danke auch für die charmante Beschreibung von Bad und Treppe. ? Das historische Grubenarbeiterhaus hat eben seinen ganz eigenen Charakter – und ein bisschen gehört das zum Erlebnis dazu.

Industrial culture in the Ruhr area
We, as a family of four, spent a weekend in the apartment Sonnenschein. Everything important is available. We were particularly impressed by the surroundings: a well-preserved example of mining settlements. The only thing we missed due to the summer weather was an opportunity to sit outside.
