Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in a very small and quiet holiday home settlement directly on Lake Dümmer. Parties are not allowed here, so you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet amidst the nature of the protected landscape area.
The region around Lake Dümmer is not only a wonderful recreation area but also strategically well situated for excursions to, among others, Schwerin, Wismar, the Baltic Sea, Hamburg, or Ludwigslust. For children there are, among other things, only 500 m from the holiday home there is an adventure nature trail and in the village a large playground for children of all ages. For a bike tour or a hike, many beautiful and well-developed paths are available right outside your door.
There is a bakery in the village that is open on Sundays. You can purchase regional products in various farm shops, where there is often also coffee and cake in the associated farm café. The nearest shopping opportunities can be found 5 - 10 minutes away by car in Wittenburg, Stralendorf, and Pampow.
Also easily accessible by bicycle is the Alpincenter in Wittenburg (12km). There you will find leisure activities such as skiing and snowboarding, tobogganing, go-kart and quad tracks, a high ropes course with adventure playground, an indoor playground, as well as beach volleyball courts and various dining establishments.
In Zachun (20 km) you can also take advantage of a water ski facility.
Our beautiful state capital – the 'City of Seven Lakes' – together with the World Heritage Schwerin Castle, offers you a wide range of entertainment and culture. To get to know the city, we recommend a city tour with the 'Petermännchenexpress' and a trip with the 'Weiße Flotte' on Lake Schwerin.

great holiday accommodation in absolutely quiet location
We were with our daughters (14 and 18 years) for a week in this wonderful house. The house itself impresses with a friendly decor, it is very bright inside and overall you feel immediately welcome. There is nothing lacking and it is just as beautiful as in the pictures. The fenced garden with loungers and a hammock is also great, and there is a grill on site. The lake is only 100m away and we used the paddle boat and the SUP well and often there. We could not believe we were there during the main holiday season, as the lake was often almost to ourselves. In the holiday village itself, it is also very quiet; there is otherwise neither aircraft noise nor do you hear anything from road traffic. Therefore, we give an absolute recommendation; we will definitely come back!

Relaxing vacation
Our vacation at Lake Huus was simply wonderful. The house is beautifully furnished with many great details. It is bright and friendly, and we felt comfortable and welcome from the very first moment. The beds are comfortable, and everything you need is there. Really, everything has been thought of. The garden was lovely for relaxing and perfect for our dog. We extensively used the SUP and the boat and also ordered the kayaks, which we really enjoyed. We extensively used the walking paths through the beautiful nature around the lake with our dog. We were able to really relax and will definitely come back. Rarely have we had such a great holiday home!
