This very pretty and spacious apartment Club Rio Duplex is located in the small, well-kept private complex "Club Rio" directly above the Praia Grande beach with a wonderful view over the beach, river, Atlantic, "Marina of Portimão" and the castle of Ferragudo / Algarve. Despite the quiet location, it is only a 5-minute walk to the Ferragudo marketplace.
The apartment is extremely tastefully furnished and equipped with air conditioning on both floors. On the upper floor are the two bedrooms and the bathroom. From the living room you can access the pool directly via the terrace, with 4 private loungers. There is a reading and common room in the building. A private parking space is available. At the moment we have several apartments in the same complex in our program.

Location and surroundings of object
The property is quietly located in Ferragudo and offers good amenities. A spacious pool is available for guests. We recommend that our guests rent a car, as the Algarve as a whole is very worth seeing. Of course, we are happy to assist with the arrangements.
The fishing village of Ferragudo is one of the most tranquil and affordable places in the Algarve. The maze of narrow alleys and winding stairs conveys a genuine, unadulterated impression of Portuguese mentality. In front of the whitewashed, flower-adorned houses, women often still wash their laundry, and at midday sardines are grilled. Shopping is done in the "mom-and-pop stores" (mini-mercados). The people are always friendly and helpful.
In the market hall, you can buy fresh fish, seafood, and fruit every day. For bulk shopping, there is a Lidl supermarket, Aldi, and Continente at the entrance to the town. Particularly worth seeing is the small church in the upper part of the village. You have a wide view over the harbor entrance of Portimão and the Atlantic. Here you will not find sterile concrete blocks or impersonal hotel complexes, but instead luxurious villas, houses, cozy apartments, and excellent holiday resorts.
The marketplace is the meeting point for locals and visitors. There are cozy cafes here, small pubs and bars with beer gardens, and young people are also well catered for here. You will also find the post office, a bank, and a wide selection of various restaurants, from typical Portuguese to international cuisine, as well as pizzerias and chicken grills. Every weekend in summer there is a Portuguese festival that resembles a large family celebration, and the monthly flea market is also worthwhile. The beaches of Ferragudo
In the estuary of the Rio Arade is the extensive, fine sandy beach PRAIA GRANDE, which is separated from the open sea by the pier. Further on you will reach the PRAIA DO MOLHE and PRAIA DA PINTADINHO. The most beautiful beach is the PRAIA DOS CANEIROS. There you will find the pronounced rocky coves that are so typical of this coast. All beaches have various beach bars. Not to be forgotten are the impressive cliff walks along the coast, which should be done early in the morning if possible.
In our service office on site you can inform yourself about a wide range of events and leisure activities such as diving, golf, tennis, fishing, sailing, canoeing, big game fishing, various aquaparks, zoo, trips to Lisbon and Seville, concerts, exhibitions etc. We can arrange tickets on request.
