Waterside fun in Drenthe that's possible in Villa park Akenveen! There are plenty of opportunities in the region to tailor your stay to your own wishes. The top of Drenthe offers a huge diversity of landscapes. The excellent cycling path network leads you through the National park Drentsche Aa, over heaths, along hunebeds and through picturesque Drenth villages. Feel like visiting a museum? There is the Mill museum De Wachter in Zuidlaren, absolutely worth a visit. A nice day of swimming fun with the kids in the sub-tropical swimming pool in Zuidlaren also belongs to the possibilities, the entrance for park guests is free. The pretty park is located at the beautiful recreation lake supplied with spring water. The location at the Drentse Aa is special. With the generous lay-out of the park and the spacious plots, each villa has private views on the water or the surroundings.
Villapark Akenveen has extensive swimming, fishing and diving facilities in the crystal clear lake of the park. There are many facilities, including an indoor play garden and a children's farm.
If your housepet is not requested, access to the park and the booked accommodation may be refused upon arrival.
From August 23, 2021 to the summer of 2022, Villapark Akenveen will be expanded. As a result, construction work will take place along the route in the park. We do everything we can to keep any disruption to a minimum.

Would book again without hesitation. The kitchen had everything needed and parking right at the villa made coming and going easy. A good base for exploring the park nearby.
