The detached holiday houses are spread throughout Villapark Akenveen, a park with lots of water. They are neatly furnished and situated on spacious parcels. You have the choice of a 4-person variant (NL-9482-01) and two 6-person variants (NL-9482-02 and NL-9482-03). NL-9482-02 comes with a 2-person sleeping alcove or a 2-person sofa bed in the living room. The NL-9482-03 variant is a luxurious thatched house with a modern fireplace, two bathrooms and box spring beds, among other amenities. All types have a garden with a terrace and garden furniture. These homes are not always located on the water, but this can be requested with preferential costs through our customer service.

Waterside fun in Drenthe that's possible in Villa park Akenveen! There are plenty of opportunities in the region to tailor your stay to your own wishes. The top of Drenthe offers a huge diversity of landscapes. The excellent cycling path network leads you through the National park Drentsche Aa, over heaths, along hunebeds and through picturesque Drenth villages. Feel like visiting a museum? There is the Mill museum De Wachter in Zuidlaren, absolutely worth a visit. A nice day of swimming fun with the kids in the sub-tropical swimming pool in Zuidlaren also belongs to the possibilities, the entrance for park guests is free. The pretty park is located at the beautiful recreation lake supplied with spring water. The location at the Drentse Aa is special. With the generous lay-out of the park and the spacious plots, each villa has private views on the water or the surroundings.
Villapark Akenveen has extensive swimming, fishing and diving facilities in the crystal clear lake of the park. There are many facilities, including an indoor play garden and a children's farm.
If your housepet is not requested, access to the park and the booked accommodation may be refused upon arrival.
From August 23, 2021 to the summer of 2022, Villapark Akenveen will be expanded. As a result, construction work will take place along the route in the park. We do everything we can to keep any disruption to a minimum.

Stay 07:21 The house is poorly insulated, which means that staying on the upper floor is very uncomfortable at these temperatures! The air conditioning (fan) is loud but not very effective! The standard of the house is bad, fridge too small, dishes very limited, little storage space (wardrobes) The closet below is not a closet, but a cave! The shower downstairs is a joke, when you shower the whole room is flooded! There are few shelves and hooks! The house is wrong, the bedrooms downstairs and the one above is adjacent to the terrace of the neighboring house! If you sit outside for a long time, it is impossible to sleep 5 meters further! As in the picture, the house is not directly on the lake, but on a small overgrown arm of the water! The highly praised restaurant on the square is at best a large chip shop! Conclusion the price / performance ratio is absolutely not right !!

Nice comfortable house, lots of light, beautiful view, good beds. Crockery was incomplete (too few plates and wine glasses, 3 instead of 6 egg cups, no egg spoons) and we missed an oven dish. Furthermore, net curtains at the glass front door and the large bedroom windows would be nice because of privacy and sun blinds. Reception very friendly.

the shower downstairs is small no possibility to put things on or hang.and in the bedroom downstairs no window that you can open only a door. you don't open it at night.

Beautiful house and nicely finished. Went there because of the tranquility (we didn't want fireworks around us on New Years). Fridge could be slightly larger because you are in a house with 6 adults. Park is dog friendly.

The welcome on arrival was so-so. As a fairly first we had to realize that although stated otherwise, the WiFi was not free but first had to pay later (the internet was not useful) Already on arrival we had a depressing impression, everything looked empty and abandoned. The house itself was at first impression very nice and as described. Unfortunately came in the course of the stay here and there strong deviations of the description to light. The cleanliness was well, so-so. The inventory especially in the kitchen was very lukewarm. The alleged offers for leisure and activities in the park did not exist. Everything was closed, looked a bit dated from the outside, and we doubt that it will be used at all. In order to see anything or to be able to get food you had to drive very long distances. We left early as it had nothing to do as described and despite the fact that we drove off several times, we bought games etc. and just felt bored and uncomfortable. It clearly had the flair of a long-abandoned city. For sure never again

Reception on arrival fine. 2nd car at the cottage was no problem. The cottage was very disappointing. The park is very empty. There are all kinds of open spaces next to the house, so not a great view.

On arrival we were kindly received. Accommodation was good. Setting was very nice (many cycled.) Disappointment was that Restaurant and all other facilities were closed which was not mentioned in the booking !!.

The house is on a new part of the park. Because of this, little vegetation. We did not think this was a problem. Beautiful and spacious cottage, with spacious bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. We did miss on all bedrooms around the chair o.i.d. to put down our clothes in the evening, very sorry that the park does not go with their time with regard to wifi (only 1 code for 1 person per house).

The villa is very luxurious. The park reception is very friendly. The tip of the house around the villa was almost completely dead. So little privacy.

We were well received at the reception. Everything was well explained. Upon entering the house was a nice package because we were 40 years married. We liked it. The area was beautiful and we now know where Berend botje lives.

Beautiful cottages, but less suitable in terms of children's environment. Little to do at the park, view is boring, bare plain with empty plots in February at least. Cottages are fairly new and clean. Decor a bit sober and was a bit disappointing compared to the picture. Some things broken and not working as well.
