Our newly renovated apartment is located in Oberstaufen, in the Kalzhofen district, in a sunny, south-facing location, amidst beautiful nature, at the foot of the Staufen mountain, with views of the magnificent mountains.
You will be staying in an exclusive holiday apartment with modern real wood furnishings and high-quality real wood parquet flooring in Alpine style, featuring a large south-facing balcony with stunning views of Oberstaufen and the surrounding mountains. A living room with a sofa, a large dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen are also included. This spacious holiday apartment includes a bedroom with a bathroom including a bathtub and toilet. Two additional double rooms, each with a bathroom including a shower and toilet, and a south-facing balcony are also included.

Numerous hiking trails and cross-country ski trails start just a few steps from the house. The "Kalzhofer Trail," illuminated at night, is just a few meters away. The popular Hündle ski and hiking area, as well as the Oberstaufen golf course, are in the immediate vicinity and within sight.
The path to the Alpe Mohr, a well-known and popular mountain resort in Oberstaufen, leads directly past the property.
A flat footpath takes you to the center of town in about 15 minutes on foot.
This makes our house an ideal location for both access to this hiking and leisure paradise and for enjoying the lively life of Oberstaufen.
You live in nature, away from the hustle and bustle, but are quickly in the center of things if you're looking for a change of scenery.

Titel: Ausstattung sehr gut – gebuchte Raumaufteilung leider nicht erhalten Wir haben dieses Apartmenthotel bewusst gewählt, da wir mit dem Auto angereist sind und zusätzlich zwei Hunde dabei hatten. Die Möglichkeit, die Hunde unkompliziert mitzubringen, war für uns ein wichtiger Entscheidungsgrund. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir ausdrücklich die Ausstattung des Hotels. Sowohl die Einrichtung als auch die Qualität der Ausstattung waren vollends zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Auch die Möglichkeit, dass die Kinder baden konnten, war optimal und wirklich schön gelöst. Gebucht hatten wir jedoch ein Apartment mit zwei separaten Schlafzimmern für unsere beiden Kinder sowie einem Elternschlafzimmer. Unser zwei Monate altes Baby sollte – wie geplant – im Elternschlafzimmer bei uns schlafen. Diese Aufteilung war für uns als fünfköpfige Familie entscheidend. Bei der Anreise wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass ein Mitarbeiter einen Fehler gemacht habe. Statt des gebuchten Apartments erhielten wir eine andere Unterkunft mit deutlich eingeschränkter Raumaufteilung. Unsere beiden Kinder (10 und 11 Jahre) mussten sich für sechs Nächte ein sehr kleines Zimmer von etwa 1,5 x 5 Metern teilen. Dass Fehler passieren können, verstehen wir selbstverständlich. Dennoch war die Situation für uns sehr belastend. Zwei Kinder – zudem ein Junge und ein Mädchen – über mehrere Tage in einem so engen Raum unterzubringen, führte ab dem dritten Tag zu erheblichen Spannungen. Rückzugsmöglichkeiten gab es faktisch nicht, die Kinder waren dauerhaft auf engstem Raum zusammen, was zunehmend zu Konflikten führte. Die Situation eskalierte so weit, dass wir als Eltern stark unter Druck gerieten. Am fünften Tag musste ich mit einem Kind ins Wohnzimmer auf die Couch ausweichen, während meine Frau mit dem anderen Kind im Schlafzimmer schlief. Was uns zusätzlich enttäuscht hat: Die Sauna – ein Angebot, das uns als Eltern besonders wichtig war – konnten wir aufgrund der angespannten Situation nicht nutzen. Wir konnten die Kinder in dieser Konstellation nicht alleine lassen, da sie dauerhaft in dem kleinen Raum untergebracht waren und es dadurch immer wieder zu Streit kam. Damit entfiel für uns auch dieser wichtige Erholungsaspekt. Grundsätzlich verstehen wir, dass Fehler passieren können. Dennoch war es für uns unter diesen Umständen kein Urlaub. Wir werden keine weiteren öffentlichen Bewertungen zu diesem Aufenthalt abgeben, möchten unseren Unmut jedoch hier einmal sachlich zum Ausdruck bringen. Umso mehr sind wir nun zufrieden, wieder zu Hause in unseren eigenen vier Wänden zu sein. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir sehr genau überlegen, was und wo wir buchen. Für Familien ist die gebuchte Raumaufteilung keine Nebensache, sondern entscheidend für einen funktionierenden Aufenthalt. Diese Grundlage wurde in unserem Fall leider nicht erfüllt.
