Our wooden houseboat with a concrete base has been lightly painted in light blue after a fantastic vacation in Barbados, like the beautiful houses there. Together with my father, we divided the spaces into 3 apartments with privacy. We have parking spaces in front of the garden for our guests. From there, you enter our garden, which guests are also allowed to use. Then we have two apartments that we rent out for short stays in Amsterdam. Downstairs
Downstairs is smaller than the apartment upstairs, but has a wonderful floating private terrace with a lounge set. From the private terrace you can also swim or paddleboard. But of course you can also just enjoy a drink and take in the view over the water towards the center of Amsterdam. To enter the space or to go to the private terrace, there are two staircases. Therefore, it is useful to be able-bodied when renting this space. The entrance is on the right side of the houseboat. You enter the room with a refrigerator, coffee and tea facilities, and a small kitchen with an induction cooktop. There is a seating area with a table (which is extendable and can be made larger). There is a closet where you can store suitcases and where an electric griddle is located, which you can use outside on the terrace. From that room, you can go to a toilet room and to the bedroom. From the bedroom you can go to the floating private terrace through a large window. And in the bedroom there is a washbasin and a shower cabin. There is a TV on the wall, on which you can stream with your smartphone or iPad when you are on our wifi. We rent our bed linen and towels and of course we have already made your bed up nicely for you upon arrival.
