Welcome to 'Polin Canal & Garden House'!

Discover Amsterdam from our wonderfully bright and spacious ground floor apartment (85 m²), with three bedrooms and a private garden of 45 m².

A comfortable, quiet base, ideal for families with children and for guests who want to experience Amsterdam for culture, walking, and good food. You are staying among iconic places: you overlook the Diamond Exchange with its spectacular glass roof, next to the apartment is the Royal Theater Carré and around the corner you’ll find the Skinny Bridge.
You can step right into the city, metro and trams are 2 minutes away, and you come home to a pleasant, peaceful base. Space and comfort:
* Ground floor and without stairs, pleasant with (small) children or if you prefer to stay on one level
* Open living area with lots of light

Fully equipped, including:
* Nespresso machine + milk frother
* Nutri-bullet
* Refrigerator
* Dishwasher
* 5-burner stove + extra wide oven

For families:
* Toys (lots and lots and lots of dinos :-)) and books for children aged 3-8 years
* Free travel crib and high chair available on request
* The garden is fully fenced, nice and safe for spending time outside

Outside:
From the kitchen you can step straight into the garden: wonderful for warm summer evenings. Wi-Fi and occupancy:
Free Wi-Fi is included. Maximum occupancy: 4 guests (excluding babies).

Important to know (peace and house rules):
Our apartment is located in a quiet residential area. We find it important that everyone, including our neighbors, can sleep and live comfortably. Therefore, this is a place for a peaceful stay and less suitable for groups of friends. That means:
* No parties or events
* No loud music or noise, not even in the garden
* No smoking in the house and not in the garden (no cigarettes and no weed)
* Only the booked guests are welcome
* We ask you to be extra mindful of noise after 10:00 PM

Beautiful apartment with a lovely garden!

We loved our stay here. The apartment is great and it was really nice to have a comfortable sofa in the garden to relax in. It's very well located for both the tram and to walk into the centre. Anouc was a very responsive and helpful host. It is obviously a well used family home so there isn't a lot of cupboard space to store clothes etc which wasn't an issue for us - the fact that it is a home rather than a minimalist holiday rental added to the appeal for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Easter City Break

Had a great mini break at the Polin Canal & Garden House.
The house is perfect for 2 couples, clean, bright and plenty of space both inside and out to to be relaxed and sociable. Loads of facilities make the stay feel like a home from home, it allowed us to really settle in to the stay without the usual inconveniences of a hotel stay.
Location is amazing, view out the front is quintessentially Amsterdam with the canal right there. The Metro is just round the corner which gets you to Central Station in 5 minutes to explore the city or to catch the train to the airport. If you fancy walking to the centre, it is scenic and allows you to see some character that would otherwise be missed.
Anouc was clear with communications and very helpful with any questions asked, her recommendations for places to eat were especially useful with some great meals had.
I absolutely recommend the house for couples or families visiting Amsterdam who are looking for a central location, but far enough away not to be effected by the hustle and bustle of usual city life.

Highly recommended!

Our stay with Anouc was really great! It felt like a home away from home. The location of the house is fantastic, just a few stops from the lively center of Amsterdam, which was convenient but also provided a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle. The neighborhood is quiet, tidy, and perfect for walking. The house itself is beautiful, with a lovely garden that can be opened while cooking or enjoying a cup of coffee (and the Nespresso was a nice bonus!). The lighting is excellent and the interior is tasteful, with a cozy atmosphere that doesn't make you feel like you're in someone else's home. Amenities like the bathtub, washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher made our stay even more pleasant. If we come back to Amsterdam, we would not hesitate to stay with Anouc again. Anouc was also very helpful and responded quickly to all our questions. Additionally, we were allowed to check in early due to an early flight, which was a great service after a long journey.

Great canal apartment with garden

Great apartment in the middle of Amsterdam. Anouc was very helpful during our stay. She also gave us great tips for restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. The house was very clean. We rented a bike so we could ride around the whole city. Anouc, we will definitely see you again.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful house, nice host!

Everything was perfect, the apartment was very clean, very pleasant, and roomier than in the photos, and the garden was very beautiful as well. Good beds, bed linen, and towels that were super soft and thick. The neighborhood is lovely with small canals, and it is very close to museums or the center by metro or tram. And it's very easy to communicate with Anouc, so when we come back to Amsterdam, we will come here.

Great stay in the center of Amsterdam.

Our stay in Anouc's apartment was truly fantastic. The interior is both warm and stylish and equipped with everything we needed. The hotel is located in the center but away from the tourist crowds. The place was just a short walk (or subway & tram for convenience) from restaurants and museums and gave us a perfect starting point. The surroundings are calm and truly feel like home, with the comfortable beds ensuring perfect sleep after days of wandering through Amsterdam. The existing garden provided a wonderful place to relax. Thanks to the Nuki Smart Lock system, we could easily open the door with our phones or keypad, adding a modern and user-friendly touch. Anouc has proven to be an excellent host by sending us a list of the top restaurants in advance, some of which we visited and enjoyed all. The welcome with a bottle of wine and delicious snacks felt very warm. Anouc always responded quickly to our questions, which was greatly appreciated. We would gladly return on our next trip to Amsterdam. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home so warmly!

5-star stay!

Everything was perfect, the apartment was very clean, very pleasant, more spacious than on the pictures, the garden is very pleasant too. The district is lovely with small canals and it is very near of museums or center by metro and tram. And it is very easy to communicate with Anouc, so if we come back to Amsterdam, we will come here for sure.
