The holiday home Eschennest is like a "home port". It delights with its fantastic view of the mountain town of Eversberg with castle ruins. This spacious holiday home offers 137 square meters of space for up to 9 guests and is ideal for families or groups of friends. In the large garden you can relax, play, and enjoy the day. With 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on two levels. The Eschennest is distinguished by a variety of amenities that will make your stay unforgettable. Relax on the balcony or in the beautiful 1000 sqm garden with a large lawn and enjoy the peace of nature. For barbecue fans, a charcoal grill is available to spend cozy evenings with delicious food outdoors. In addition, there is a terrace with outdoor furniture and a shady seating area with lounge furniture inviting you to linger. Drinking coffee at sunrise on the forest sofa or enjoying the sun on the comfortable loungers allows you to let your soul unwind. Sufficient parking spaces in front of and next to the house offer ample parking.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen-living room with dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, ceramic hob and oven. For coffee lovers, there is a coffee machine (filter) and a kettle. The little guests have also been considered: a crib and a high chair as well as children's cutlery are available.
Further amenities include a washing machine, dryer, Wi-Fi, an iron, and a hairdryer to make your stay even more comfortable. Entertainment is provided by a 55-inch Fire TV in the living area. Bed linen is provided, and the non-smoking house is also suitable for long-term rentals. The Hahne bakery is only about 500 meters away. Metzgerei Kutsche can be found in the old village with a very good selection. The farm shop at the church offers local specialties. Three cozy inns are available for connoisseurs: Lindenhof, Dollenhof, and Gasthof Scheer serve regional dishes in a family atmosphere. For a quick bite, there is a snack bar right by Dollenhof.
You will find a hairdresser in the center of the village – perfect for a spontaneous visit.
If you are looking for a bouquet for special occasions, you will find it at "Blumendehle." Eversberg also excites those interested in history: The local museum offers fascinating insights into the region’s former life. The numerous half-timbered houses with their ornate inscriptions tell stories from times long past. The parish church of St. Johannes impresses with its architecture and beautiful furnishings. The old castle ruins of Count Gottfried tower over the town and offer a magnificent view over the Sauerland. The beautiful nature around Eversberg invites you to numerous activities. Whether hiking, jogging, cycling, or Nordic walking – the extensive network of trails offers the right route for every fitness level. Surrounded by the Sauerland mountains and forests, you can enjoy unique views of the land of a thousand mountains. The most famous hiking trail is the Sauerland Forest Route with the Lörmecke Tower. Popular hiking destinations from Eversberg also include the Königsmünster Abbey in Meschede, the Warsteiner Brewery, etc.
Fancy water, sun, boating? The Hennesee is only 9 km away. The Möhnesee and Sorpesee can also be easily reached in about 35 minutes by car.
On spontaneous snowy days, the Eversberg ski lift (button lift) is open for young and old. Additional ski lifts: Hunau-Bödefeld: 27 km, Winterberg: 33 km, Willingen: 33 km

Great holiday home with a super view
Great holiday home for a large family with a beautiful view, excellent amenities, and very friendly hosts. Very cozy and harmonious decor, we felt very comfortable.
The cleanliness was outstanding.
We would definitely recommend the Eschennest and would love to come back!

A great holiday home in the Sauerland
We had a great stay with 9 people from 3 generations at Eschennest.
The house is top equipped, from the large bedrooms with by far the best beds we have ever had in a holiday home, to the large, accessible bathroom (with a walk-in shower and grab bars in the shower and at the toilet), the fully equipped kitchen, to the newly furnished, cozy living/dining room with a great view of the opposite castle ruin. The contact with the landlady was great, both in advance and especially on-site, Ms. Bohnenkamp was incredibly friendly and warm, making us feel very welcome.
We would choose the Eschennest again at any time for another trip.
