Very beautiful house with outstanding amenities in a great location.
We were there with 2 families (4 adults & 4 teenagers) for a week. The house offers plenty of space for 8 people. All bedrooms are nicely furnished. The two bathrooms and the two separate toilets are of a high standard. The kitchen, dining, and living area are spacious and very nicely furnished. The kitchen equipment is fantastic. The terrace, garden, and barbecue area are a highlight. And there are also four bicycles that can be used. It is a really very beautiful house with outstanding amenities!
But the surroundings are also particularly beautiful. There are many great sandy beaches and an incredible dune landscape. Alkmaar, Bergen, and also Amsterdam are not far away and absolutely worth seeing. We took the train from Alkmaar to Amsterdam, where there is a P&R.
Last but not least, I would also like to positively mention the landlords, who were always friendly, warm, and helpful. Emails and messages were always answered promptly.
Would we book the house again? A very clear yes!

Wonderful house near the Schoorl dunes
The house is located in a very quiet residential area. Even though they weren't there in person, we were given a very warm welcome by the extremely friendly hosts. Manon and Roger were also always available during our stay to answer any questions we had.
The spacious, well-maintained living area with a fireplace, the covered terrace, and the many seating areas in the house and garden invited us to linger during our fall vacation, and the very well-equipped kitchen offered everything we needed.
The bathrooms and bedrooms upstairs were very spacious, clean, and lovingly furnished. We felt at home from the very first day. The bicycles provided were ideal for reaching the beach and shopping facilities.
In addition to outdoor activities, the resort town of Schoorl also offered opportunities for excursions to Amsterdam, Haarlem, or the nearby town of Alkmaar.
If we travel to North Holland again, we will first ask Manon and Roger if the house is available.
Hi, my name is Manon and together with my husband Roger we live very happily here in beautiful Schoorl. Now that our children have left home, we would like to see more of the world and at the same time we enjoy opening our lovely house to other holidaymakers. The house is within walking distance of the Schoorl Dunes and within cycling distance of the village and the beach. A garden of 400 m^2 borders the garden and there is also a beautiful veranda attached to the house where you can enjoy watching the sunset. We hope to welcome you in Schoorl!
