Relaxing days in a beautiful cottage in a prime location.
As experienced North Holland vacationers (couple over 50 with dog), we can recommend this beautiful cottage in a prime location with confidence. The equipment is comprehensive and everything is neatly furnished and clean. We felt comfortable right away. The terrace invites you to linger with a table, chairs (with cushions), and a large umbrella, while the dog frolics on the lawn of the area, separated by hedges. The location is perfect for short walks to Schoorl or the polders, as well as for extensive hikes in the dunes. Of course, bike tours from here are also not a problem. A storage option for bicycles is available, as well as a parking space right next to the house. The friendly landlords round off the overall package for a nice vacation. Even though this time it was just the two of us + dog, we can also recommend the house to families with a maximum of 2 children (we were once more too ;-)

A holiday accommodation as one would wish for.
We, 3 adults and a large dog, felt very comfortable in this cottage. It is nicely furnished and of high quality. The kitchen was also well equipped. Everything you need for everyday life was there, from a filter bag to a bottle opener. The garden is fully enclosed and easily visible from the living area, so you don't have to worry about children or a dog. Only the rather steep stairs to the bedrooms were not manageable for our dog. But since she felt very comfortable downstairs, no problem. Holidaymakers with small children have also been catered for. Stair gates, plastic dishes, night lights and so on are part of the equipment.
The location of the house is also ideal. You have enough peace and quiet because it is a bit hidden. Walks, bike tours, shopping, everything is possible without a car. It is situated on a varied nature reserve. Here you can go for long walks and bike rides. For us it was simply ideal. Relaxed and close to nature. It is also a good starting point for excursions due to its good location. We have seen nature, pretty towns and museums. Information material on excursions is also available and what we saw was really recommendable.
Booking, payment, arrival and departure were uncomplicated and cordial. I am also sure that we could have contacted the landlady at any time with questions or problems. But there were simply none.
We are definitely planning to spend our holiday there again.

Simply a dream
This holiday home from the Rietveld family is simply a dream, everything is just right, the location, the furnishings and the warmth of the landlords. Even just a 4-day holiday here is a rest. This holiday home is on my list: "I will definitely book here again", but then it will be a longer stay - guaranteed.

We will be happy to come back...
The house is very comfortably furnished, clean and well equipped with utensils for everyday use. It is spacious and the fenced garden is of course a bonus. You have your peace and quiet, are close to the centre and the dunes, the beach is a few kilometres away but if you are mobile that is not a problem. The landlords are also very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. Parking spaces are also available directly in front of the house. We stayed there for a few days with our dog and can highly recommend the house and the area.
