NEW and available from July 2024, our heath log house Harmonie, one of the most beautiful cottages in our unique wooden house development on the edge of the heath village of Neuenkirchen. Our guests have combined individuality and comfort in a large living space. The living room is spacious and has a door to the fantastic sun terrace. There is also plenty of space in the kitchen for cheerful work, and you have a great view from the stylish mullioned windows to the small ponds in the garden. A wide stone staircase, which can be easily climbed by any "furry friend", and through the conservatory, lead to two great and bright bedrooms. The rooms are very bright thanks to the beautifully orientated bay windows. When it is cooler, underfloor heating ensures cosiness, and when it is very hot outside in summer, you can sleep well protected and quite cool. The fully equipped second bathroom also has underfloor heating.
The house is surrounded by an idyllic garden. The neighbouring properties are surrounded by greenery and tall plants. Everything here invites you to relax and creates harmony!
A large, sun-protected carport is available for your car. Your dog(s) are also welcome (no extra charge).
The cottage has been lovingly lived in for many years and we are delighted that it is now part of our holiday cottage family. We still have some renovations and adjustments to make, so more photos will be added gradually. Let us surprise you! Anyone who looks at our other holiday homes "Eichhörnchen", "Dachsbau" and "Peterle" knows that it will be chic and special!

Neuenkirchen is a lively, cosmopolitan heath town in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath with all the necessary infrastructure. Situated between the cities of Hamburg, Hanover and Bremen, Neuenkirchen is easily accessible and yet quiet and tranquil.
The village has 2 historic shepherd's and half-timbered farmsteads, 2 supermarkets, several bakeries, beverage market, restaurants, ice cream parlour, natural swimming pool, 2 doctors' surgeries, pharmacy, 2 petrol stations, post office, hairdressers, etc.
Neuenkirchen is an artists' village and has the "Art in the Landscape" hiking trail as well as the "Springhornhof Art Association" with its exhibitions.
Swimming opportunities are offered by the excellent natural swimming pool "am Hahnenbach", which is fed by a spring, as well as the moor healing lake "Stichter See", where you can enjoy a refreshing and healthy swim in summer. In winter, you can go ice-skating on the marvellous heath and moorland.
Neuenkirchen and the surrounding area have an extremely well-developed network of cycle paths (Lüneburg Heath cycle path network approx. 2000 km) and wonderful hiking trails.
The Lüneburg Heath offers not only beautiful nature but also attractive adventure parks! There is pure action in the Heidepark Soltau, Snow Dome and go-kart track (Ralf Schuhmacher). The world-famous bird park, Serengeti Park, otter park, high rope climbing park and much, much more!
For shopping fans, the Designer Outlet Centre in Soltau-Haber (only 15 km away) has been open since summer 2012. Our charming roof-only house is very quietly situated in a special recreation area with no through traffic! In our settlement there are about 30 nicely designed wooden houses of this type in a tolerant and friendly neighbourhood right next to the forest. Thus in healthy nature.
In the immediate vicinity (approx. 800 metres) is the historic "Schäferhof Neuenkirchen" with its more than 500 Heidschnucken sheep. During the season, you can take part in the sheep round-up every day from 18:00. Shepherd Matthias is always there for a "Schnack am Schober" for the guests!
Another highlight is the historic half-timbered farm "Schroershof" in the centre of Neuenkirchen. The "fried potato evening" takes place here every Monday from spring to autumn. Here you will be spoilt with culinary delights centred around the heather potato. Many a heather secret is revealed with music and fun!
Despite the absolutely quiet location in our settlement, you can easily walk (approx. 0.8 km) to the centre of the village to do your shopping, visit the ice cream parlour or the Italian and Greek restaurant!
