These lovely holiday apartments are beautifully situated just outside Workum, one of the Frisian Eleven Cities. The apartments are built in a large farm located in the Workumer Mar. The interior is light and modern, with a clear eye for comfort. Apartment A is suitable for 6 people and apartment B for 2 people. Both have an extensive kitchen and modern bathroom. Ideal for people who like to spend their holidays together but still appreciate their own privacy. You can relax wonderfully inside or outside on the terrace. From the apartment you have a magnificent view over the fields.
Workum is an old and lively town on the edge of the IJsselmeer. There are many galleries, various restaurants and pleasant terraces. In the centre next to the church is the Jopie Huisman museum. Here you can enjoy his unique paintings. Workum also has a lot to offer for shoppers. Many activities are organised by the Workumers throughout the year. Get to know pottery, blacksmithing or painting.
In this quiet and rural area you can really enjoy peace and space. You can regularly spot deer and birds of prey in the field. In and around Workum you can enjoy water sports to your heart's content, such as surfing, sailing, kiting, canoeing and swimming of course. Workum has a large beach with volleyball court and surf shop, various marinas and many boat rental companies.
