We absolutely enjoyed our time here! The sunny terrace was perfect for a morning coffee and evening relaxation. A short drive to the beach of Workum, which was beautiful. The hosts were friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a quiet place with modern amenities, then this is the place!

We felt at home right away, simply perfect. This accommodation is highly recommended for people with disabilities who rely on a wheelchair. A wheelchair ramp was also provided. Especially nice was that the two cats greeted us every morning for some love. We also greatly enjoyed the nature and the peace. For us, there is nothing to complain about; everything you need is present. We would love to come back! ️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a wonderful week! Fun with all the animals and been outside a lot. House is in tip-top order. Nice spacious kitchen and nice bathroom. Very nice owners who wanted to explain everything about the animals to our children.



A few points to note:

Water pressure is very weak, which is annoying to shower

The garden was not finished yet, so it looked a bit messy. As a result, we were also very exposed to the wind, it would be nicer if there was some shielding.



Other than that we were very satisfied. We'll definitely be back!

The Klaasen family's holiday apartment on a small farm was really big for us as a family of 4 with 2 small children 5 years and 18 months, there was a lot of space. The family themselves were very friendly and you could always ask them anything. They also helped you quickly. Our children had fun, since there were also animals, such as. 2 horses, some sheep, chickens and the 2 cats that visited us every day and never left our side. The beach was not far away, the location was very quiet. We will definitely book there again. The Klaasen family, thank you very much for the lovely week.

We reported to the owner who lives in the other part of the farm and who said the door of the accommodation is open, if possible ask you to report. We did not need to report anything though was clear and spotless, the house really had everything about it, with a fantastic view through the glass wall, and for us very important, very quiet, with the beautiful Workum area within walking distance.

We were welcomed with a sugar loaf. The accomodation was top, wonderfully quiet with a wide view of the farms, yet within walking distance of Workum. We thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings. This was our first holiday in Friesland but it will certainly not be the last. There is still so much to see and experience.

We booked a week Friesland to enjoy nature and tranquility during some bike rides with the gezin.Workum was not unknown to us and spoke to us of the Berkhof accommodation aan.Aangekomen the Frisian farm we were welcomed by a very friendly hostess that our domain voorstelde.In the guesthouse we were welcomed with a delicious sugar bread. The residence is part of the farm, but the separate driveway, entrance, terrace, ... you have more than enough privacy.Je notice that thought was very good about the decor. Just about everything is provided! The accommodation is luxurious and very well furnished. Our children (5 and 7 years) loved to romp in the garden and the animals to discover the center of Frisian Eleven City Workum is just minutes away. Supermarket, butcher, baker, terraces, ... on wandelafstand.Dankzij the pleasant weather we have made fantastic cycling along the Frisian lakes. Pure relaxation! Unfortunately the holiday week too fast and there was still plenty of activities that we still wanted to do.We knew that Friesland has much to offer, but now we know where to stay ... in the Birch

We were warmly welcomed by Herma and on the table in the house was a wonderful cinnamon bread for us wachten.Het whole house was equipped with mosquito nets and therefore the pests, remained at a pair crept flying after, nice outside. To our surprise there was a washing machine (this was not yet adapted to the site with Belvilla) which of course was a good deal for our stay of 14 days. The house was completed, and for our little guy there was also plenty to do such as a trampoline, sand mountain, a swing and a lot of space and animals. Unfortunately there was no freezer available in the fridge, but hey you're on vacation and we have therefore made no problem. The apartment was a surprise. A converted barn has become quite a modern spacious apartment. On the terrace is the sun all day. Cats, chickens, birds and sometimes a horse come to visit over and looking directly at a Kuhweide.Mit bike ride from the town center and also to the small beautiful beach of Workum.Leider there are also many flies and mosquitoes. A flyscreen is ordered, so that you can sleep better soon.

We enjoyed the weather in September with streaky rest in Berkenhof. The apartment is brand new and very stylish with everything you could want fitted. If the weather just did not allow bike ride, we were able to stop us just fine in the big holiday and felt very comfortable. Klaas and Herma are very nice and helpful., They made us feel welcome. In the surrounding area there is plenty to discover the best bike on the beautiful bike paths. We will come back.

We have been from Monday to Friday in the cottage. We were great and were received during the week for questions or tips! On the site of the house is very quiet but a 10 minute walk and you're at a bakery where we could catch up. Morning fresh rolls A little further on was a large supermarket. The center with terraces is only 20minutes walk. We have taken the bike and then you're all fast in the center. In "Rooster " (on the corner opposite the petrol station) we could rent a boat a day. It was a fantastic holiday!

We were warmly welcomed by Herma and on the table in the house was a wonderful cinnamon bread for us wachten.Het whole house was equipped with mosquito nets and therefore the pests, remained at a pair crept flying after, nice outside. To our surprise there was a washing machine (this was not yet adapted to the site with Belvilla) which of course was a good deal for our stay of 14 days. The house was completed, and for our little guy there was also plenty to do such as a trampoline, sand mountain, a swing and a lot of space and animals. Unfortunately there was no freezer available in the fridge, but hey you're on vacation and we have therefore made no problem. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and I'm sure this house on our list of places we will definitely come back. A real aanrader.Wij townspeople enjoyed the peace and quiet at De Berkhof. Fam. R. The apartment was a surprise. A converted barn has become quite a modern spacious apartment. On the terrace is the sun all day. Cats, chickens, birds and sometimes a horse come to visit over and looking directly at a Kuhweide.Mit bike ride from the town center and also to the small beautiful beach of Workum.Leider there are also many flies and mosquitoes. A flyscreen is ordered, so that you can sleep better soon.

We booked a week Friesland to enjoy nature and tranquility during some bike rides with the gezin.Workum was not unknown to us and spoke to us of the Berkhof accommodation aan.Aangekomen the Frisian farm we were welcomed by a very friendly hostess that our domain voorstelde.In the guesthouse we were welcomed with a delicious sugar bread. The residence is part of the farm, but the separate driveway, entrance, terrace, ... you have more than enough privacy.Je notice that thought was very good about the decor. Just about everything is provided! The accommodation is luxurious and very well furnished. Our children (5 and 7 years) loved to romp in the garden and the animals to discover the center of Frisian Eleven City Workum is just minutes away. Supermarket, butcher, baker, terraces, ... on wandelafstand.Dankzij the pleasant weather we have made fantastic cycling along the Frisian lakes. Pure relaxation! Unfortunately the holiday week too fast and there was still plenty of activities that we still wanted to do.We knew that Friesland has much to offer, but now we know where to stay ... in the Birch

At the last minute yet booked a short break us super liked. A bike rented a boat rented ways enough to discover the beautiful Friesland apartment as part of a farm, was fine. Your hosts are super friendly and helpfull enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful week! Fun with all the animals and been outside a lot. House is in tip-top order. Nice spacious kitchen and nice bathroom. Very nice owners who wanted to explain everything about the animals to our children.



A few points to note:

Water pressure is very weak, which is annoying to shower

The garden was not finished yet, so it looked a bit messy. As a result, we were also very exposed to the wind, it would be nicer if there was some shielding.



Other than that we were very satisfied. We'll definitely be back!

We have been from Monday to Friday in the cottage. We were great and were received during the week for questions or tips! On the site of the house is very quiet but a 10 minute walk and you're at a bakery where we could catch up. Morning fresh rolls A little further on was a large supermarket. The center with terraces is only 20minutes walk. We have taken the bike and then you're all fast in the center. In "Rooster " (on the corner opposite the petrol station) we could rent a boat a day. It was a fantastic holiday!

We spent a very nice week in the new and clean apartment. She is very quiet location on the edge of Workum and an ideal starting point for cycling. The beach is minutes away from the IJsselmeer with the bike in about 15th

We enjoyed the weather in September with streaky rest in Berkenhof. The apartment is brand new and very stylish with everything you could want fitted. If the weather just did not allow bike ride, we were able to stop us just fine in the big holiday and felt very comfortable. Klaas and Herma are very nice and helpful., They made us feel welcome. In the surrounding area there is plenty to discover the best bike on the beautiful bike paths. We will come back.

Despite the weather had a great holiday in this beautiful apartment. The apartments are part of a farm very hospitable people and is fully equipped and very comfortable. During our stay there were lambs born on the farm so the kids loved that prachtig.De environment is also fine with Sneek, Ijselmeer and other villages for outings. In Joure had just remodeled the subtropical pool which is very nice made. Plenty to do.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner of the house. If you like us three weeks must have been lovely to sit outside beautiful weather and enjoy the beautiful view over the fields and scattered farmhouses.

What a beautiful house in a beautiful place! Truly a Belvilla.Het is a very spacious home. We had nice room and the kids had still enough place to play. Nice surroundings too, Workum yourself within walking distance. And activities for children about 30 minutes away (swimming pool, indoor playground). Maybe we'll come back here!

We were welcomed with a sugar loaf. The accomodation was top, wonderfully quiet with a wide view of the farms, yet within walking distance of Workum. We thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings. This was our first holiday in Friesland but it will certainly not be the last. There is still so much to see and experience.

Very nice and spacious apartment, fantastic view. Quiet and located outside, yet close to Workum and conveniently located for all kinds of trips. Modern furnishings and sanitary facilities. Lots of outdoor space (and farm animals) for kids. Friendly owner. Kitchen inventory somewhat "basic" but in order.

We reported to the owner who lives in the other part of the farm and who said the door of the accommodation is open, if possible ask you to report. We did not need to report anything though was clear and spotless, the house really had everything about it, with a fantastic view through the glass wall, and for us very important, very quiet, with the beautiful Workum area within walking distance.

The Klaasen family's holiday apartment on a small farm was really big for us as a family of 4 with 2 small children 5 years and 18 months, there was a lot of space. The family themselves were very friendly and you could always ask them anything. They also helped you quickly. Our children had fun, since there were also animals, such as. 2 horses, some sheep, chickens and the 2 cats that visited us every day and never left our side. The beach was not far away, the location was very quiet. We will definitely book there again. The Klaasen family, thank you very much for the lovely week.
