Welcome to the Eifel summer house!
The house was built over 100 years ago and was completely renovated and modernised in 2020. It is located in the quiet Eifel village of Höfen, the gateway to the Eifel National Park. Our new interactive 3D tour takes you through all the rooms and the garden: See
The ground floor consists of an open-plan living and dining area, large hallway and large bathroom area with sauna. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, milk frother, fully automatic coffee machine, Philips Gourmet coffee machine, egg cooker, waffle iron, blender with accessories and of course various other cooking utensils.
In the dining room there is a large real wood table with ample seating, a children's chair and a cosy bench. In the living room there is a corner settee that can be converted into a double bed (1.40 x 2.20 metres). The programmable and remote-controlled pellet stove creates a cosy atmosphere. A smart TV (WLAN and CI slot) is also available. In the "SPA area" there is a large sauna, two showers, several seating options, two washbasins, a urinal and a toilet. A hairdryer is also available.
The entire basement (including the shower) is equipped with underfloor heating.
Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedrooms are equipped with double beds (2 x 1.80 x 2.00 m / 2 x 1.60 x 2.00 m) and each with a Smart TV. One room is combined as a bedroom and playroom, with a pool table and foldaway bed that can be folded up and down as required. With the sleeping possibility in the living room, up to 10 people can spend a pleasant holiday in the summer house. A cot can be provided if required. The bathroom on the upper floor is also fully equipped with WC, washbasin and shower and of course a hairdryer.
WLAN is available throughout the house and on the veranda and terrace. Towels, dish towels, high-quality bed linen, wood pellets and toilet paper are provided. Shower gel for hair and body is provided in the bathrooms. Washing-up liquid and dishwasher powder are also provided.
Outside there are two terraces with seating and a barbecue as well as a large covered veranda, which can be lit and heated. Ideal for smokers. Bicycles or similar can be stored in a lockable garage right next to the holiday home. In the garden there are many games for young and old such as a basketball hoop, children's trampoline, balls, badminton games and much more.
There are 4 parking spaces in front of the house. For e-cars we have an e-charging station at the car park. There are various shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity (Lidl, Aldi, Kaufland etc. approx. 8 km away). The house is a non-smoking house; pets are not allowed.

Our house is located directly on the famous Eifelsteig and invites you to beautiful hikes or bike tours. The historic old town of Monschau is 5 minutes away by car and the Rursee is approx. 25 km away. There are numerous excursion possibilities in the surrounding area, such as the Dreiländereck, Camp Vogelsang, the imperial city of Aachen or the Nürburgring.

Very good summer house
We were very warmly welcomed by the landlords. The house itself was cozy and very well equipped! From cleanliness to the sauna area and the kitchen amenities, the house left nothing to be desired.
