Description

Welcome to our lovingly furnished holiday apartment “Teuto-Idyll”.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of our single-family house with a separate entrance. A bright, comfortable, and cozy apartment ideal for 2 guests.
A third person can be accommodated on the pull-out sofa bed.
Our accommodation offers spacious, bright living on 80 sqm with a living and dining room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a new, modern kitchen.
The large south-facing terrace also invites you to linger, or on cooler days, the fireplace in the living area.
Perfect for a relaxing stay.
The “Teuto-Idyll” is situated in a quiet residential area on a hillside directly by the Teutoburg Forest (as the crow flies approx. 300m) with a beautiful view of the Berlebeck Valley, the surroundings, and the Hermannsdenkmal in the distance.

Location and surroundings of object

Our vacation apartment offers the best starting point for numerous hiking and cycling tours around the Teutoburg Forest, the Eggegebirge or to our tourist highlights!
Right in the town, there is the Berlebeck Eagle Observatory, near the apartment the ruins of Falkenburg, the Bird Park Heiligenkirchen, the Externsteine as well as the Hermannsdenkmal and the LWL Open Air Museum.
You can reach these destinations via the well-signposted and excellent hiking trails. Additionally, the TouristikLinie 792 operates hourly from Easter until November 1st on weekends and public holidays to the popular excursion destinations.
The Hermannsweg and the Eggeweg are the two most popular and well-known hiking trails in our region.
Our village Berlebeck has a very good bus connection (every 15 minutes on weekdays) to the nearby larger city of Detmold, which is eight kilometers away.
Shopping facilities are available in our neighboring village Heiligenkirchen (distance 2.5 km). There are also bakeries and a gas station.
The heated outdoor pool Berlebeck is open from mid-May and provides cooling off after a long hike or bike ride. Once again, here is an overview of the tourist destinations nearby:

Geweldige vakantie!

We werden hartelijk welkom geheten!
Een hele mooie ruime en super schone vakantiewoning.
Prachtige gelegen en vanuit de vakantie woning kun je zo de natuur in wandelen. Heerlijke rustige plek. Alles in de woning ruim voorradig zelfs zout, peper en enkele kruiden en koffie / thee .
We hebben hier veel gewandeld en gefietst.

Genoeg recreatieve mogelijkheden en bezienswaardigheden in de directe omgeving.

En de mensen hier zijn heel aardig!

Beautiful break in the Teuto-idyll

We spent a week in the holiday apartment "Teuto-Idyll" and were completely thrilled.
The apartment itself is in absolutely pristine, like-new condition, thoughtfully furnished and impeccably maintained.

The name is program here: The garden does justice to the word "idyll"!
So lovingly and well-kept that one can hardly find anything like it even with targeted searching.
The location is wonderfully quiet with a great view. For hiking and nature enthusiasts, the vacation apartment is the perfect starting point: The eagle sanctuary in the immediate neighborhood is a real highlight, and the Externsteine can also be reached on foot (good stamina for the kilometers required).
On-site, plenty of information and flyer material is available, so one can start the first day of vacation relaxed with excursion planning. Two practical tips:
The available parking space is designated for two cars, but then it gets quite tight.
For shopping, the car is recommended, but a supermarket is only a few minutes' drive away and is easily accessible.

We enjoyed our time to the fullest and can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment!

A beautiful, very modern equipped vacation apartment in a wonderful landscape.

We spent ten truly relaxing, beautiful vacation days in the holiday apartment.
The arrival was very warm. The rooms are - just as can be seen in the photos - very modern and well-furnished. The apartment and the available linens were spotless.
There was actually nothing missing in the kitchen. The best part was the huge glass walls.
This way, one could always enjoy the wonderful view of the beautiful landscape. Famous excursion destinations are not far away and can be reached quickly by car, bicycle, or on foot.
The same applies to shopping opportunities.
In summary, this vacation apartment can only be highly recommended.
Because not only the vacation apartment but also the landlords are simply great!!!

Absolute idyll in prime location

The apartment is very idyllically located and well-equipped.
It offers the perfect location as an ideal starting point for excursions in the area. Many sights/destinations are in the immediate vicinity and can be reached by car in about 7-15 minutes (Externsteine, Hermann Monument, Eagle Sanctuary (highly recommended), Bird Park, Open-Air Museum, and Detmold).

The owners are very warm and always available for inquiries or concerns. We spent a wonderful and relaxing week in Berlebeck and can only recommend the apartment! :)

An ideal holiday accommodation

We felt very comfortable in the holiday apartment. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary and a lot of attention to detail. Particularly impressive was the view from the dining table of the landscape of the Teutoburg Forest. We are very grateful to our warm hosts for picking us up from the bus stop upon our arrival as well as the subsequent car ride to the nearest shopping center. As "first-time vacationers without a car," we can wholeheartedly recommend the use of public transportation (bus and train) from the holiday apartment to excursion destinations in the Lipperland without any restrictions. The network is very well developed. We would love to come back again!

Hello, an exceptionally quiet and super clean apartment that has everything you need! Open-minded and friendly hosts who are very interested in making sure the guests feel comfortable! Very pleasant: a large number of towels, toilet paper, soap, dish towels, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, household roll, trash bags, etc., as well as coffee filter bags, salt, pepper, etc. - everything on site! Great location to reach many beautiful destinations on foot!

The holiday apartment is highly recommended; we lacked nothing. Everything is very lovingly furnished. The living room, kitchen, and bedroom are flooded with light through the large windows. You can access the terrace directly from these rooms. The wide view is fantastic.
What also distinguishes the apartment is the top cleanliness.
Ms. Kuhnert is a very caring and accommodating landlord.

Shopping options are reachable in 5 minutes by bike. Many attractions are practically at the doorstep. Therefore, despite the not-so-good weather, we still had a nice and relaxing week.

We would like to thank Mrs. Kuhnert for the good time and wish her and her family all the best. We would gladly come back.

Teuto-idyll

The location is good, directly from the apartment you can hike to various attractions. From the apartment or terrace, a beautiful view into the greenery. A very quiet location! Shopping is possible in the village, however, it is too far away on foot. By car or bicycle, it's great. The apartment is very spacious for two people and well equipped. A private parking space is available. And the Teutoburg Forest is worth seeing!

Zeer ruim en compleet appartement

We hebben een heel fijne, relaxte week in het Teuto-Idyll appartement doorgebracht. Het appartement was schoon en is heel ruim van opzet en dat is heerlijk. We konden buiten op allerlei plaatsen rondom het huis in de zon of schaduw zitten. Binnen was het meubilair prima evenals het royale tweepersoonsbed en de badkamer. Je kunt er goed fietsen en wandelen en er zijn de nodige bezienswaardigheden in de buurt. Detmold en Paderborn zijn leuke plaatsen om te bezoeken. Wel moet men rekening houden met een flinke klim vlakbij het huis. Dus een eventuele e-bike vlak voor aankomst op de turbo-stand zetten; overigens kan deze overdekt gestald worden.
We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen en de contacten met de eigenaren waren verder ook heel relaxed.

Fantastic!

We spent a wonderful weekend in this beautiful holiday home with our little family (including a baby). Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome by the incredibly friendly and lovely host to the pleasant communication before our stay; everything went smoothly and pleasantly.

The house itself is spacious, bright, and very clean. The accommodation is stylish and cozy, the bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is large and equipped with everything you need, a real pleasure to cook in. A baby crib was also available, which was very practical for us.

The surroundings are simply beautiful, quiet, lots of greenery, and wonderful nature. In the evening, we took a walk and even encountered storks, a lovely moment.

Last but not least, the price was also very pleasant. We look back on this stay with great joy and would gladly come again. A true recommendation!
