Welcome to our lovingly furnished holiday apartment "Teuto-Idyll".
The apartment is located on the ground floor of our single-family house with a separate entrance. A bright, comfortable and cozy apartment ideal for 2 guests.
An additional person could find space on the pull-out sofa bed.
Our accommodation offers spacious, bright living on 80 sqm with a living and dining room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a new, modern kitchen. The large south-facing terrace also invites you to linger, or on cooler days, the fireplace in the living area does.

The “Teuto-Idyll” is located in a quiet residential area on a hillside directly by the Teutoburg Forest (as the crow flies approx. 300m) with the most beautiful view of the Berlebeck valley, the surroundings, and the Hermannsdenkmal in the distance. - New well-equipped kitchen: induction stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, and contact grill

Our vacation apartment offers the best starting point for numerous hiking and cycling tours around the Teutoburg Forest, the Eggegebirge or to our tourist highlights!
Right in the town, there is the Berlebeck Eagle Observatory, near the apartment the ruins of Falkenburg, the Bird Park Heiligenkirchen, the Externsteine as well as the Hermannsdenkmal and the LWL Open Air Museum.
You can reach these destinations via the well-signposted and excellent hiking trails. Additionally, the TouristikLinie 792 operates hourly from Easter until November 1st on weekends and public holidays to the popular excursion destinations.
The Hermannsweg and the Eggeweg are the two most popular and well-known hiking trails in our region.
Our village Berlebeck has a very good bus connection (every 15 minutes on weekdays) to the nearby larger city of Detmold, which is eight kilometers away.
Shopping facilities are available in our neighboring village Heiligenkirchen (distance 2.5 km). There are also bakeries and a gas station.
The heated outdoor pool Berlebeck is open from mid-May and provides cooling off after a long hike or bike ride. Once again, here is an overview of the tourist destinations nearby:

Absolute idyll in prime location
The apartment is very idyllically located and well-equipped.
It offers the perfect location as an ideal starting point for excursions in the area. Many sights/destinations are in the immediate vicinity and can be reached by car in about 7-15 minutes (Externsteine, Hermann Monument, Eagle Sanctuary (highly recommended), Bird Park, Open-Air Museum, and Detmold).
The owners are very warm and always available for inquiries or concerns. We spent a wonderful and relaxing week in Berlebeck and can only recommend the apartment! :)

An ideal holiday accommodation
We felt very comfortable in the holiday apartment. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary and a lot of attention to detail. Particularly impressive was the view from the dining table of the landscape of the Teutoburg Forest. We are very grateful to our warm hosts for picking us up from the bus stop upon our arrival as well as the subsequent car ride to the nearest shopping center. As "first-time vacationers without a car," we can wholeheartedly recommend the use of public transportation (bus and train) from the holiday apartment to excursion destinations in the Lipperland without any restrictions. The network is very well developed. We would love to come back again!

The view is outstanding.
The apartment is great. It is large, clean, very well equipped, and the location is top. There is enough space for 2 adults and 1 child.
We would vacation in this apartment again at any time...

Like home!
We found a perfect spacious vacation apartment upon arrival. Very bright rooms, very clean, with good amenities. One could simply feel at home! The host family is very open and friendly!!! Anyone who wants to have a good time in the immediate vicinity of Detmold is exactly right here. Many noteworthy destinations in the region are quickly accessible! Until next time!

Hello, an exceptionally quiet and super clean apartment that has everything you need! Open-minded and friendly hosts who are very interested in making sure the guests feel comfortable! Very pleasant: a large number of towels, toilet paper, soap, dish towels, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, household roll, trash bags, etc., as well as coffee filter bags, salt, pepper, etc. - everything on site! Great location to reach many beautiful destinations on foot!
