The cottage was a great base for our exploration of the Veluwe. We visited the Dolphinarium and the Apenheul, both a short distance away. After a busy day, it was nice to return to such a cozy space.

The cottage was reasonably clean except for a few things. The location is beautiful. We had to go home after 2 nights because the dog became seriously ill. We canceled our stay and asked if we could still use the cancellation insurance, but they said it was our own risk. Later, we had contact with Hometogo, where we booked, but we haven't heard anything yet.

What a charming stay! The cabin was cozy and perfectly equipped for our family of six. We loved having breakfast outside in the garden, surrounded by nature. The location is ideal for hiking in the nearby Speulderbos!

I can provide a description of everything that was wrong with the cottage; I will send the complete list to the owner, but a few things: mold in the shower, trash not cleaned up, hair in the shower drain, deep pits in the mattresses, broken dishwasher door, which meant we had to wash dishes by hand, no / hardly any storage space in the shower (we were two people, while this is listed as a cottage for 4-6 people (!)) and no bath towels or kitchen towels. As far as my experience is concerned: this specific cottage C32 should never be rented out this way again.

It is super close to the hiking trails, which was ideal for our weekend getaway. The only downside was that the WiFi was a bit slow, but honestly, who needs that when you have nature?

Please contact us. We left immediately after the first night. Mold is present on every wall, floor, and ceiling in the bathroom. The house is unhygienic and not rentable. We have now moved to another house. Photos of the situation are available. Once again, please contact us, the phone number is very poorly reachable!

The cottage was not really clean, e.g., there were bloodstains and other marks on the towels. We exchanged them with the still "clean" towels from the other beds in the cottage. The toilet seat was loose, so you really had to be careful not to fall off (we reported this to the manager on the first day), and no one came to repair it. The clothing hook in the shower was loose, so we didn't hang anything on it. There was a film on the windows and mirror that we removed ourselves. Best regards. Fred Siliakus
