Location and surroundings of object
The beautiful, historic mountain village of Vasia (approx. 450 inhabitants) is located very picturesquely at an elevation of 385m in the hinterland of Imperia amidst olive groves, open towards the south to the coast. Vasia has a small grocery store and a post office, and there is a supermarket about 7 km away in Caramagna. The gentle mountain landscape invites hiking or mountain biking. The clean and well-maintained beaches in Imperia and the surrounding area (see ADAC test) are only about 10 km away. 10 km away and offer swimming fun from May to October.
Not far from here, there are very beautiful and interesting places that are easily accessible via the highway: If you drive east along the coast, you can visit Diano Alassio (25 km), Portofino (140 km), and Cinque Terre (150 km); if you drive west, you will reach San Remo (20 km), Monaco (55 km), Nice (approx. 100 km), Cannes (90 km), and Saint Tropez (180 km). Not far from Varia, in Dolcedo there are many good restaurants. In the neighboring towns, there are home restaurants during the summer, where you can try the real regional cuisine.
