This private vacation home is the perfect retreat for anyone seeking tranquility and nature – ideal for families, couples, friends, surfers, hikers, gourmets, and anyone looking to experience a versatile vacation. Here you will find three terraces that invite you to relax for hours in the sun or in the shade. Enjoy a barbecue with friends, relax in the hammock, or watch your children play on the swing or basketball hoop. Our detached single-family home is quietly located at the edge of the forest, on the outskirts of the medieval village of Pont-Croix in the picturesque Finistère department. Here you are only three kilometers away from the sea, where you can choose between long, fine sandy beaches in the south and the impressive, rugged cliffs with their hidden coves in the north. The varied landscape and charming villages of this region offer countless opportunities for exploration. The lovingly furnished thatched holiday house combines upscale comfort with Breton flair and is surrounded by a spacious garden that hosts old trees, cozy benches, and a swing. Enjoy the sun on one of the three terraces and make yourself comfortable. A supermarket is one kilometer away, ensuring you are conveniently supplied with everything you need for your stay.
Nature and adventure right outside the door
Another highlight of the area is the coastal river "Le Goyen". It rises in Plonéis and flows into the Atlantic at Audierne. This river, with its shipwrecks, diverse flora and fauna, offers a spectacular backdrop for relaxing walks and exciting bike rides during the ebb and flow of the tide. The various surf spots, such as the famous Baie des Trépassés, are easily accessible and offer perfect conditions for beginners and professionals. Dream House
The house is breathtaking! It is decorated with so much taste and love and is equipped with everything a (family) heart desires: baby and toddler equipment, a toy box for indoor and outdoor play, a swing, and various sitting areas. Terraces in the garden, a fireplace with accessories for cozy evenings, a generously equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, and induction cooktop, an inviting dining table in the living area, comfortable mattresses and (various) pillows, towels, various beach items, bicycles, washing machine and drying rack, and much more.
In addition, there is the perfect location that invites you to explore the small and larger towns, coasts, and beaches in all directions! The supermarket is a 3-minute drive away, the family-friendly beach in Audierne with a beautiful playground nearby can be reached in 12 minutes by car, and the marketplace with restaurants and bars in Pont-Croix is a 20-minute walk away.

Cozy vacation home in the countryside
We were there with a group and felt very comfortable. Contributing to that was the cozy fire in the fireplace in the evening, the stylishly furnished rooms, the view of the greenery, and the well-maintained living atmosphere. Excursion destinations are easily accessible on foot and by car, as well as delicious local restaurants.

A Breton Dream
La Chaumière Krier is simply dreamy! We spent wonderful holidays there and felt comfortable from the very beginning. The house is exactly as described – beautifully and lovingly furnished in the French style, with romantic details, a huge fireplace, and a very large, cozy living room. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, nothing was missing – everything was there for the children as well. The property is huge and idyllically enchanted, with a swing, a barbecue area, and even a small babbling brook – simply perfect for relaxing. We were especially excited that there are e-bikes, which allowed us to take great trips to the Atlantic. Additionally, beautiful beaches and picturesque hiking trails for small and large walks are super quick to reach. The surroundings are simply fantastic: in Quimper, you can go shopping wonderfully, Audierne has great restaurants and cute, small art galleries, and the many small "Petites Cités de Caractère" in the area have a very special charm and are incredibly worth seeing! In the lovingly created guest folder, we found many great insider tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. Not least, the communication with the host was simply top-notch – super warm, reliable, and friendly. Overall, a coherent price-performance ratio and an absolute recommendation - we would love to come back!

Wir haben die Zeit in diesem kleinen, liebevoll gestalteten und bestens ausgestatteten Haus mitsamt seinem wunderbaren Garten sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber sind stets gut zu erreichen, es gibt Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs wie schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe- wir kommen gerne bald wieder!

Es ist mit so viel Geschmack und Liebe eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was das (Familien)Herz begehrt: Baby- und Kleinkindequipment, Spielekiste für In- und Outdoor, Schaukel und verschiedene Sitzecken bzw. Terrassen im Garten, ein Kamin mit Zubehör für gemütliche Abende, eine großzügig ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspülmaschine, Backofen und Induktionskochfeld, ein einladender Esstisch im Wohnbereich, bequeme Matratzen und (verschiedene) Kopfkissen, Handtücher, diverse Strandutensilien, Fahrräder, Waschmaschine und Wäscheständer uvm.
Hinzukommt die perfekte Lage, die dazu einlädt, die kleinen und größeren Orte, Küsten und Strände in alle Richtungen zu erkunden!
Der Supermarkt ist 3 Autominuten entfernt, der familienfreundliche Strand in Audierne mit angrenzendem schönen Spielplatz ist in 12 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar und zum Marktplatz mit Restaurants und Bars in Pont-Croix lässt es sich in 20 Minuten spazieren.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Dazu beigetragen hat das gemütliche Feuer im Kamin am Abend, die stilvoll ausgestatteten Zimmer, der Blick ins Grüne und die gepflegte Wohnatmosphäre. Ausflugsziele sind zu Fuss und mit dem Auto git erreichbar, ebenso leckere, einheimische Restaurants.

La Chaumière Krier ist einfach traumhaft! Wir haben dort wunderbare Ferien verbracht und uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist genau wie beschrieben – wunderschön und liebevoll im französischen Stil eingerichtet, mit romantischen Details, einem riesigen Kamin und einem sehr großen, gemütlichen Wohnzimmer. Alles war blitzsauber und bestens ausgestattet, es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt – auch für die Kinder war alles da.
Das Grundstück ist riesig und idyllisch verwunschen, mit einer Schaukel, einem Grillplatz und sogar einem kleinen plätschernden Bach – einfach perfekt zum Entspannen. Besonders begeistert hat uns, dass es E-Bikes gibt, mit denen wir tolle Ausflüge an den Atlantik unternehmen konnten. Außerdem sind wunderschöne Strände und malerische Wanderwege für kleine und große Spaziergänge super schnell zu erreichen.
Die Umgebung ist einfach fantastisch: in Quimper kann man super shoppen gehen, Audierne hat großartige Restaurants und süße, kleine Kunstgalerien und die vielen kleinen „Petites Cités de Caractère“ in der Umgebung haben einen ganz besonderen Charme und sind unheimlich sehenswert! In der liebevoll erstellten Gästemappe haben wir viele tolle Insider-Tipps gefunden, die unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht haben.
Nicht zuletzt war die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin einfach top – super herzlich, zuverlässig und sympathisch. Insgesamt ein stimmiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und eine absolute Empfehlung - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben mit Freunden eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus verbracht. Eingebettet in viel Grün, bietet es die perfekte Lage für alle, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet – man fühlt sich sofort wohl!
Zudem ist es ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung zu erkunden. Ob malerische Küsten, historische Dörfer oder beeindruckende Natur – es gibt viel zu entdecken.
Ein perfekter Ort, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und die Schönheit der Bretagne zu genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
