This house is very quietly located and you can walk straight into the forest of Ermelo from this property. This forest borders the Veluwe and within minutes you can enjoy all the beauty that the Veluwe has to offer. A lovely holiday home to unwind.

Not only does it border the Veluwe, but it is also only 3 km away from the bustling city centre of Harderwijk. This beautiful contemporary town has more than 100 monuments, picturesque streets and atmospheric squares. Ever since 1252, Harderwijk - once located on the Zuiderzee - has been referred to as a Hanseatic city. You can even find parts of the old wall, complete with impressive towers.
Harderwijk is also a feast for food lovers. From a Black Angus burger in a cosy eatery or a tasty fish on the promenade to an exclusive Bib Gourmand menu in a starred restaurant. This is not the culinary Hanseatic city for nothing. Come and taste it!
From this historic city centre, you are at the Veluwe Lake within 2 minutes. You can go to the iconic beach here, but you can also take a round trip on a tour boat, sloop, sailing boat or even a botter. Peer over the rim of your glass of wine at the sun slowly sinking into the water and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

I love travelling and also love this area. Especially because in 1 day you can enjoy the beautiful Veluwe, but also the water or beach of the Veluwemeer. And then in the evening you can have a lovely dinner in characteristic Harderwijk. With this Veluwelodge, I also want to give others this experience, by getting away from it all in a lovely holiday home in beautiful surroundings.
