Description

The flat is located on the ground floor of the Paterstöckl, a small house in the centre of Salzburg's cathedral district. The house, first mentioned in 1601, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and was renovated with great attention to detail in 2016. It is in a prime location, just 130 metres from Salzburg Cathedral and 500 metres from the Festspielhaus, right at the foot of Hohensalzburg Fortress.

There are only 2 flats in the building. The flats have separate entrances and can be connected on request (see our other advert for the whole house if you need more space).

The flat presented here is the larger of the two and is located on the upper floor and attic. The entrance is at the rear of the house (towards Hohensalzburg Fortress) and, as the house is on a slight slope, is at ground level except for a few steps. The furnishings, including bathrooms and kitchen, are new. The flat has partly underfloor heating and partly convectors. The floor is made of terrazzo in the kitchen and in the anteroom, in one bedroom of wide natural wood floorboards from the 19th century and in the other rooms of high-quality new natural wood floorboards (please no street shoes in the flat). The room layout of the flat:

Also available: WLAN, coffee machine, TV, washing machine, bed linen, towels, toilet paper, soap, hairdryer, tea towels, iron, smoke detector. The kitchens are equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots etc.

The building is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town of Salzburg and was completely renovated in 2016 under strict monument protection regulations. You live here in the centre of the medieval ensemble of Salzburg's old town and enjoy modern living comfort at the same time.

The house is located in the pedestrian area, there is no parking available. Access by private car is not possible. You can reach the house within 50 metres by taxi.

Location and surroundings of object

You live in the Paterstöckl, just 130 metres from the cathedral, surrounded only by buildings of the Archdiocese of Salzburg. Despite this, no large streams of tourists pass by the house, as the building is slightly set back in a quiet square. Directly behind the house is the ascent to the fortress.

You will be living in a listed building that was first mentioned in 1601. The entire building was completely renovated in 2016 and is one of the few houses in the cathedral district to offer modern living comfort. It is located in the pedestrianised area of the old town, but is somewhat hidden from the crowds of tourists. However, there is no car park and access by private car is not possible. You can reach the house within 50 metres by taxi.
