Location and surroundings of object
The recreational village of Aschau is located in the middle of the Zillertal. It has two grocery stores, a Raiffeisen bank, a bakery, a butcher, a restaurant, a playground, a train station, a pharmacy, and a doctor. A regional taxi is available to our guests and locals at the specified times for a fee. The stop is 200 m above the Kumeterhütte. 20 minutes on foot from the hut, in the direction of Tiefenbach, there is the opportunity to buy fresh eggs daily from the Schiestl family's own hens at "Lechenweg's Oarladerl". There are also all kinds of spices and homemade liqueurs, schnapps, home-raised beef and other products available there... it is worth a visit...
It is 7.9 km to the Hochzillertal Kaltenbach ski area, and 6.8 km to the Zillertal Arena ski area.
