Dreamlike accommodation
We were with 5 adults and a toddler for 4 nights in this house and felt completely comfortable. Everything is available, the amenities leave nothing to be desired for spending great days there. The location is also great, you can quickly reach the towns of the island by car, and walking is also excellent. We would love to come back again.

Beautiful!
We had a very relaxed and restful week in this beautiful house! Everything is so lovingly furnished and equipped, and the garden with terrace is wonderful! We felt very much at home! The location is a dream... right in/on the woods... very quiet and beautiful! The communication with the landlord was super nice and straightforward. Everything was just wonderful! We have been to Ameland many times... but this surpassed it all! We will definitely come back!

Worth a trip
We felt very comfortable in the cozy house with plenty of space for everyone. It was a pleasure to sit at the large table with a view of the beautiful garden, rich in animals and with a display of clouds that only winter can conjure. Being in a private accommodation makes for a pleasant difference compared to hotels and standard apartments. The straightforward, friendly, and accommodating communication is the icing on the cake for any trip.

A wonderful holiday in a beautiful house!
We had a few wonderful weeks at the Vogelkers. Although the weather wasn't always nice, we never got bored. The house is equipped with an extensive library. It was also nice that we could spend a lot of time on the terrace since it is very sheltered. And the location is perfect! You can walk directly from the garden into the forest and the nature area between Ballum and Nes. And it's wonderfully quiet at night. In short, the Vogelkers is highly recommended!!

We bought our house, De Vogelkers, in 2014. Back then it was still called Fostaland. We think Vogelkers is an appropriate name because there are a lot of bird cherries in our garden. Over the past 10 years, we have often had tenants, and they were all enthusiastic about the house, especially about the tranquility and the cozy decoration of our home.
